Ravenshaw is one the best University of India. Students aspire to study in this University because of the name and campus. It is one of the old Universities of India. Ravenshaw ' web ranking and accreditation from international students. Ravenshaw ranks among the first 500 in India and in 5000 among the world. This is affiliated by UGC, AIU and NAAC. The university admission is done by considering class 12th marks for B.Sc as it an UG programme.

The B.Sc admission is done by considering the marks of class 12th. The admission in B.Sc in botany required good marks in biology in class 12th. The reason to join this course if we want to build our career in the academic perceptive or we want to go in the field of teaching or research or have any plans for higher studies then this college is the best college as it have best and most experienced faculties and have every facility to have a good exposure. The campus experience will be the best. The B.Sc is good but in the perceptive of placements, it is not that good.

This University has the name because of its facilities and faculties. There are average 50 faculties in every domain. The average year of experience is minimum 5 years. It is very difficult to mention the academic qualifications of faculties as it provides various courses starting from UG to any professional courses. The professors are well experienced and have good knowledge depth. As we know teaching is also an art, the way of teaching also matters. So the professors and lecturers of this college is the best. Along with that you can the best lab experience as Ravenshaw have the best lab facilities and equipment. We can have in-depth knowledge of everything practically as well as theoretically. Faculty are NET qualifier, so no doubt they are good.

The courses available are good in this college but when it comes to training and placement cell, it is good. There is no 100% placement record. Only 75% students get placed but this number may vary but no 100% placement. The average package gone so is 4.25LPA. The placement records will improve as this depends on the students also. This institute provides only basic level placements to the scorers and deserving candidates.

The hostel facilities are average and better as compared to other government institutions. The food quality is average; one can manage with the quality. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. As it is a government institution hostel fees are not much. The security facilities are provided in the hostel. The canteens are provided. The food quality varies from hostel to hostel but it is sustainable.

Labs and classrooms are all well equipped. Every facility is provided which is need for a student to have experience. The labs are also provided with good lighting and sitting facilities so that students should not face any difficulties. The best attraction is the Kanika library which is one of the biggest libraries. The auditorium and amphitheatre are huge and every well equipped as it is the place where all national and international seminars are conducted. The fests and sports in this university is well organised and gives everyone a wonderful experience. When it come to medical facilities there is best within the campus and along with that the university is located near to the SCB which is one of the best medical in India.

The campus is very beautiful. Students from all the India are attracted for this beautiful campus. Large number of fests and cultural events are conducted. This is great for growth where we get chance to organize, conduct and participate in various national and international level seminar and events. The play ground is very large and numerous number of sports events are conducted. The various state level sports selections are also conducted in this university. The various clubs include cultural, social, technical which provides much growth in terms of exposure and skills. The overall campus life can be concluded to be outstanding.
