If you are planning to complete your graduation in NSHM, then get ready to have the best college experience in this institute. Affiliated under MAKAUT and AICTE, it is one of the best colleges. Back in 2018, it was considered as the Best B-School and has also received the ASSOCHAM India Award for Best Education Group. I always wanted to enroll in NSHM as I believed that this college will help me shape my career in the future. Not only does the college provides top-quality education but also has an appealing infrastructure and helpful faculty to guide you throughout. Coming to the admission process, it is quite simple and you can do it at the convenience of your home. You just need to visit the main website of NSHM and fill up the application form. Then, you need to attend the webinars and video chat with the faculty members. Finally, you have to sit for the interview and if you get selected, then you will receive the offer letter over the mail. I learned so many things here that still come beneficial to me today.

Since I was always quite passionate about computers, I wanted to attain a degree in Computer Applications. When I searched through the Internet, I realized that NSHM is one of the best BCA colleges. So, without giving it a second thought, I made my decision to apply here. I checked the eligibility criteria before applying and luckily, I was eligible for admission. I had my 10+2 passed in CBSE with English as my first language and Computer Science as my major subject. You too can apply for the course if you have completed your 10+2 from a recognized university with English and Statistics/Computer Science/Business Mathematics or Mathematics as your main subject. I must say that the course subjects are quite diverse and did meet the expectation that I had before joining NSHM. The diversity had helped me a lot back then to get a job in a reputed company that I am in, today.

NSHM has over 360 faculties to date and each of them is quite professional in their work. They are well-qualified and have good expertise in teaching. Besides, they are supportive and explain each lesson with proficiency. However, I believe they should adapt to new teaching methods and try a more practical approach for better transmission of knowledge.

The college has training and a placement cell where the students get to take part in various programs such as mock interviews, pre-placement discussions, group discussions, industry interfaces, and much more. All these programs are conducted to elevate the chances of the students getting into their dream company. While I was in NSHM, I took part in the group discussion and learned many techniques to crack it. It was worth being a part of. Various reputed organizations such as Cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys, Amazon, TCS, L&T participated in the placement drive.

NSHM also provides hostel facilities to students. However, it is not that great. The hostel food is quite average and you might not like it. I did not like the food at the hostel. But apart from that, the rooms are quite sanitized and safe for the students to stay. Also, there is a dining hall, a sanitary vending machine for girls, a 24*7 water facility, air-conditioned and non-airconditioned rooms within the premises. On-campus laundry, pest management systems are also additional facilities of the hostel. There are separate hostels for boys and girls and the students have to charge a monthly fee of Rs. 5,000 to stay in the hostel rooms.

The best part about NSHM is its infrastructure. It has well-developed classrooms, a library, hostels, a sports complex, Pharmacy Labs, Audio Recording Labs, Computer Labs, and much more. Apart from all this, there is also a seminar hall, conference room, gym, auditorium, cafeteria and hospital facilities for the students. But what I liked the best was their yoga classes in the morning and free wi-fi 24*7.

Overall, you will have a good time in our college. Different fests are organized by our college every year to bring out the best in every student. While here, you can take part in Y COMM, Login Astitwa, Y Frames, Vectra, and other events and showcase your talent on stage or appreciate different performances on stage. Besides, our college also holds blood donation camps and celebrates Independence Day and Saraswati Puja grandly in the college playground. You can enjoy these celebrations as well and enjoy your college life to the fullest.
