My time at BITS Pilani has been incredibly rewarding. The campus, with its mix of heritage site sites and modern infrastructure, creates a perfect environment for both personal and academic growth. I chose BITS for its renowned academic standards and the freedom it offers students. Diverse peer groups and active campus life provide students ample opportunities to explore new interests and make lasting connections. BITS Pilani's excellent placements stats comparable with top IITS showcase the quality of the institution.

BITS Pilani M.Sc Economics program offers engineering students’ knowledge of Finance and Economics. The BITSAT's cutoff for this course typically ranges from 250 to 260. Eligibility is the same as other courses. The course emphasizes over both theoretical and practical aspects of Finance and Economics My desire to learn Accounting, Stock Valuation, Financial Management and other financial skills made me pursue this course.

The faculty at BITS is highly knowledgeable and dedicated. They come from diverse academic and professional backgrounds, which enrich their learning experience. Most teachers have advanced degrees from IITs and some even from MIT. Some of them also have experience working at firms like JP Morgan Chase Bank. They are actively involved in research in their respective fields. They encourage critical thinking, practical application of concepts and open discussion. Top-scoring students get to assist the professors in their research and learn from them personally.

BITS Pilani does have a placement cell for helping students secure jobs in the industry. The cell is proactive and well-connected with industry leaders, which significantly boosts job opportunities for graduates. Whether it is helping students secure internships or securing placements, BITS placement cells play an important role. They also provide the training for resume building, interview preparation and career counseling. Their efforts ensure students are well prepared for job markets and many land top positions in top companies across various sectors.

Heritage sites like Saraswati Mandir which directly faces the famous BITS Pilani clock tower enhance the beauty of campus. Key buildings include NAB (New Academic Block), LTC (Lecture Theatre Complex), well stocked Library, FD and auditoriums. The campus also offers extensive sports facilities, with grounds for almost every sport. There are cafeterias like ANC (All Night Canteen), ToTT, Looters and Food Ministry offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options at affordable prices.

There are 4 fests which occur in campus every year. They are Oasis (cultural fest), Apogee (tech fest), Bosm and Interbits (sports fest). Many renowned artists like Vishal-Shekhar, Amit Trivedi, Abhishek Upmanyu, Samay Raina, etc have already performed in some of these fests. Oasis is India's second largest cultural fest. BITS Pilani's campus life is energetic and inclusive, making it easy to explore your interests and be part of a supportive community.
