Study in IIT is one of the dreams for every student either of JEE or graduate as IIT provides not only better instrument facilities but also an environment where the future of India studies. I was getting all third generation and 2-3 second generation IIT through IIT JAM but I choose IIT Bhilai over others due to my senior’s advice and its overall faculties and facilities.

If we take an example of M.Sc Chemistry you have to get a decent AIR around 600-1500 may be from next year the maximum limit will decrease, means I may become less than 1400. Chemistry department is one of biggest department of our IIT. The course curriculum is designed like we have two semester exams in one year along with presentation, quizzes, seminars, etc. In one semester there are two exams mid semester and end semester. Marking differs from faculty to faculty some do relative and some do absolute grading.

All faculties are best as they are teaching in IIT. Out of 11 faculties in Chemistry department most of them are from top ranked universities like MIT, Harvard, NUS, Weizmann Institute of Science, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, etc. And they have good connection. One of our faculties is in top 2% scientist in world and most of them are in 10-20% of world. This year Dr. Sanjib Banerjee got prestigious CRSI bronze model. So overall faculties are best.

Yes and its name is CCPS. Placements in B.Tech go from minimum 7 LPA (mechanical) uptu 48 LPA (CSE). This year a package of 40 LPA was received from Google. In M.Tech 12 LPA is minimum. For M.Sc it goes from 6 lakh to 12 lakh for teaching as an option.

Hostel is best among every IIT. We have AC and washing machine in hostel so anyone can think of hostel facilities level. Also there is MSH hostel for married students.

This IIT was established in 2016. Being one of the newest IIT among all IIT's the infrastructure is far better than any one's expectations. We have iconic H shape building. All the departments are connected through corridor for the ease of reach. Also, it is one of the first colleges in India which is designed in 3d model and it looks same. Overall infrastructure is very good.

The campus is of around 425 acres. I won't say everything is perfect but overall it is so far so good. IIT Bhilai have many clubs like Epsilon, Space Exploration Society (SES), Drishya (acting society), Placement Cell (CCPS), Beat Hackers (dance), Swara (singing) and many more clubs. We have an annual festival named Meraz in which last year Antara Mitra and Qafila band came. The campus strength is currently 1200+ which everyone is hoping to be 5000+ in upcoming 3-5 years. Every festival like Diwali, Holi, Janmashtami, Lohri, etc. is celebrated in IIT so overall you can consider this IIT to be in the category of best.
