Overall, the campus gives you a very good opportunity to gain you required outcomes in the future. You will get to meet different people all across the country and also from few other parts of the world. IITD also has student exchange program where few students of IITD get a chance to visit and be student in other campus in abroad like Queensland in Australia, DTU in Germany, etc.

I was always been interested in the development of solar energy. So, when I discovered this MTech course at IIT Delhi, I thought that was the right place to go into that area. It has super rigorous academics, but that's exactly what I need: learn from the best and push me to the limits that I never knew I had. I am interested in Silicon Heterojunction solar cells. It is a really promising technology, and I am happy to learn how to get these optimized.

The MTech program at IIT Delhi is served by the qualified experts who are the faculties of the institute. Most of them hold a doctoral degree from reputed institutions and are engaged in various innovative research work including areas such as renewable energy, nanotechnology and material sciences. There is provision for both lectures and hands on practice for the students, such practice being quite essential due to the very nature of the course. In addition, faculty like Professor Vamsi Komurala, oversee the research project work and ensure that students learn in an interactive environment that promotes the use and development of thinking, practical skills and solving of complex issues.

Indeed, institute has very proactive placement cell that has been able to assist most of the students in getting job opportunities from best industries possible. The cell acts as an intermediary between the students and the recruiting companies and helps, by organizing activities of such as resume writing, mock interview and interactions with the industry. Apart from pre-placement talks, it enables recruiting campaigns from companies in different domains such as technology, consulting, finance, and manufacturing to take give on campus placement. The placement cell (OCS) renders specialized counseling to the M.Tech students who require technical expertise in the field. Many of the alumni got through places in top firms like Google, Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase, and Tata Power. The cell also makes sure that each student gets the job as per their academic performance.

Yes, excellent residential facilities for students are provided in well-maintained hostels. Modern amenities like Wi-Fi, common rooms, study areas, and mess facilities which serve nutritious meals are there in all the hostels. Rooms are comfortable, where occupancy can be either single or shared, and designed to fulfill the requirements of a peaceful living and studying environment.

Campus is pretty good-IIT Delhi. Buildings are very modern, classrooms are fabulous, and have labs with latest equipment and even a special center for renewable energy research. This includes library, which comes packed with books as well as journals on any conceivable topic. There are places for sporting activities, cafeteria, and even health center. In short, everything you need to get through can be found right there on campus.

Campus life at IIT Delhi is pretty dynamic and very enriching in terms of keeping it both nearly immersed in academics but still not letting some personal element get left behind. Student communities have people from many different cultures and academic backgrounds, making sure everyone gets along perfectly. There are many student clubs that provide for all interests in the world-from robotics to coding, music to art. Events include an annual cultural fest: 'Rendezvous', and a technical fest: 'Tryst', where students come not only from the city or the state but from the entire country. Ample of sports opportunities, debates, and social initiatives also exist. In any of these activities, one enhances his or her leadership and makes everlasting friends.
