IIT Delhi's Fee Structure and Scholarship Opportunities

I chose IIT Delhi because of the reason that it is the only IIT that is built inside a city so you can also enjoy the city life as well as the campus calm.

IIT Delhi academics are considered one of the best of the country. It has decade experienced professors and has lavish lecture halls. There are continuous tests and quizzes and the competition here is real. If you study here you will be competing with the best minds of India. The result and grading is totally online and well maintained. The academics are bit too much if compared with other institutes but the payoff is worth it.

Rs. 3,00,000 per semester is the fees. Total fee is of Rs. 12,00,000. Scholarship is available according to your family income. Multiple scholarships are also available in the institute and education loan is also pretty easily available if you get admission here.

Faculty at IIT Delhi is the best. The professors are so educated that I can't tell you how good they are their studies. Almost all are profs have decades of experience and training. All are experts in their respective fields. Sometimes they even teach us from their own books which are quite fascinating and commendable. Not all but some professor actually care about students and will help whenever needed. You can approach them whenever needed.

Placement cell of IIT Delhi is one amongst the best with average placement packages from 24 LPA to 26 LPA on power with India's best institutes and today's time it is number one institute amongst India according to NIRF ranking. The highest package here is around 8 CR which is just unbelievable. There are multiple workshops that are conducted in order to empower students to get placement in good companies, company such as Google, Microsoft and Amazon come here for recruitment.

IIT Delhi offers hostel facility to all first year students who wish to reside here, having 12 boy’s hostel 2-4 girl’s hostel and 2 co-ed hostel for Ph.D students. There is no timings for hostel and barely any rule, giving you complete freedom. From my personal experience hostel life is amazing with great food, amazing peer group and availability of the entire infrastructure.

Infrastructure of Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) is one of the best and most expensive one out there with extremely modern and well equipped chemistry lab, very lavish academic blocks with total air conditioning. Placed at heart of Delhi, Hauz Khas this campus is vast and one may even not be able to take a full round around it. Classrooms varying from 300 capacities to 150 to 30 all are here and depending upon size of particular class the classroom is allotted. Campus has multiple canteens near academic section namely 3 and Shiru café. The thing that sets this campus apart is its highly equipped classroom with digital displays and projects. The campus is extremely spacious with very good infrastructure. There are multiple gym and sports complexes here.

Overall campus life is very good. The crowd here is super intelligent. Everyone excelling at what they do. There are multiple clubs like music, dance, photography, etc. only to name some multiple fests organised throughout the year are Rendezvous, ASIA'S largest cultural fest. I had amazing experience with the campus life. I enjoyed a lot in all these activities especially fests lasting days with carnival type ambiance.
