IIT Delhi Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

Yes, the Institute provides hostel facilities. There are separate hostel for girls and the boys. The students will get triple sharing rooms in the first year, double sharing room in second year, and single room in third year. The mess food is good and hygienic. The hostel fee is Rs. 44,600/- per semester. The hostel life is amazing, late night fun, dancing on random songs, morning rush to take a bath, and go to the classes add more fun.Read Full Review

IIT Delhi has one of the best facilities but the hostels should be improved. Some the hostels are 2, 3, or 4-seater depending on the availability of room. The rooms are compact and you get single room in 3rd or 4th year.Read Full Review

IIT Delhi offers hostel facility to all first year students who wish to reside here, having 12 boy’s hostel 2-4 girl’s hostel and 2 co-ed hostel for Ph.D students. There is no timings for hostel and barely any rule, giving you complete freedom. From my personal experience hostel life is amazing with great food, amazing peer group and availability of the entire infrastructure.Read Full Review
