Best Campus Life at IIT New Delhi

Overall Rating
IIT New Delhi is one of the prestigious Institute. It has great academics, sports facilities, etc. The one think that I don’t like about this Institute is that the crowd is huge. The location of this Institute is great and it is situated in one of the porch areas of Delhi. Overall, it is a great Institute for tech and personal development.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Computer Science and Engineering . The motive behind choosing this particular course is because I like solving tasks and my great enthusiasm towards this course. For admission, the students need qualify JEE Advanced. The exams are held on regular basis and it also conduct major test at the end of the semester. The academics prepare you with time management skills and how to deal with difficult situation in life.
The tuition fee for each semester is Rs. 1,00,000/- but it is not applicable for SC/ST candidates. If you are from GEN/OBC category and your annual family income is less than Rs. 1,00,000/- then you need not to pay the fee. Scholarships are also provided by the Institute.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of IIT New Delhi are well experienced in their respective field. The teachers have done Ph.D and they have a great amount of knowledge. Teaching methods include blackboards, PPTs, etc. They also take students to the lab. Laptops are allowed in the classrooms for practicals. The teacher to student ratio is 1:15. Students can send their doubts on the teachers email id and they also go to their office. Overall, the faculty members are approachable.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the Institute provides hostel facilities. There are separate hostel for girls and the boys. The students will get triple sharing rooms in the first year, double sharing room in second year, and single room in third year. The mess food is good and hygienic. The hostel fee is Rs. 44,600/- per semester. The hostel life is amazing, late night fun, dancing on random songs, morning rush to take a bath, and go to the classes add more fun.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread over 325 acres and the infrastructure of this Institute is well maintained. The campus has central library with all kinds of books. Students can issue the books for the entire semester. The classrooms are large enough to accommodate 100 students at a time and small classrooms are also available for regular classes. The classrooms are well equipped with AC facilities, speakers, and projectors. The Institute also has canteen, food outlets, gym, swimming pool, seminar halls, etc.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life at IIT New Delhi so far is best. We got to explore various things in this Institute such as culture, games, academics, and politics. The Annual Technical Fest of Institute is Tryst. The campus is both peaceful and chaotic at the same time. The crowd is well organised. There are many clubs like Dance, Music, Fine arts, Debate, and many more. It organises various events and fests such as sports championship, cultural events, etc. I am living my dream campus life in this Institute.

    IIT Delhi is one of the top Institutes for Engineering in India. I chose this Institute because of its functions, events, alumni. Also, this Institute has made many unicorns which is not made by many Institutes. The most amazing thing here is that it has a counseling team and BSW (Board for Student Welfare).
