Overall Rating
Overall, my experience till now has been more than amazing on campus. There are countless things to do in this Institute and campus life is one of the best you can get. The reason I chose IIT New Delhi because of its prime location, alumni network, top-notch peer group, and one of the best infrastructures you can possibly get. I am more than happy that I joined this Institute and I am looking forward to enjoy and develop more in life.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Biochemical Engineering & Biotechnology. I chose this course over Materials Science because it felt more fascinating to me. For admission, the students need to qualify JEE Advance for UG, IIT JAM for Masters, and GATE for M.Tech. The quizzes are conducted which will evaluate your SGPA. Overall, the academics are one of the most important parts in our Institute. The academics are top notch and can be hectic sometimes. Apart from the academics there are lot things you can do in this Institute.
The total fee in IIT New Delhi is around Rs. 4,89,600/- for 4 years. The discount is provided to the students of SC/ST category and financially week students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is really very experienced. Most of the professors are from the top schools and have good knowledge in their respective field. The faculty members are very friendly. The teachers are more helpful in research work. The teaching methods include PPTs, etc. The teaching methods used by the teachers need more improvement.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the Institute has placement cell. The placements at IIT New Delhi are the best.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the Institute provides hostel facilities to the students. There are a total of 16 hostels which house around 7000 students on campus. The rooms are offered on double and triple sharing basis. From third year, everyone will get single room. The hostel students are really helpful. The hostels of this Institute are not up to the marks. There are a total of 16 hostels which house around 7000 students on campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread over 320 acres. The classes take place in the Lecture Hall Complex (LHC) which is a 6 floor building with various huge lecture halls and labs. The lecture halls can accommodate more than 100 people at a time. The campus has a central library, sports facilities, auditorium, etc. The main auditorium of the Institute called Dogra hall is very popular. The campus has hospital facilities as well.
 

Campus Rating
Till now, my campus life in this Institute is best. The crowd is very diverse and everyone is unique in their own way. There are several clubs which you can join as per your interest. The Institute conducts various fests. Our cultural fest called Rendezvous is one the most popular fest in India. It also conducts Tryst and Sportech fest. There is lot of things that you will discover in this Institute.

    IIT Delhi is one of the top Institutes for Engineering in India. I chose this Institute because of its functions, events, alumni. Also, this Institute has made many unicorns which is not made by many Institutes. The most amazing thing here is that it has a counseling team and BSW (Board for Student Welfare).
