My Life and Experiences at Graphic Era University

Overall Rating
Graphic Era University is well known for its education and beautiful campus, filled with greenery and situated between mountains in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. It provides a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various fields such as management and engineering. We have our annual fest GRAFEST and also a student GRAFEST where students can showcase their talents and creativity.
 

Academics Rating
If we talk about B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) we have many specializations like Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Biotechnology. One should have completed their 12th with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) with an aggregate of 70% and scholarships are also provided based on your percentage in class 12th and JEE scores will also land you the scholarship. Girl candidates get a scholarship of 10%. There is a perfect combination of theoretical and practical knowledge.
 

Faculty Rating
We have top-notch faculty members having years of experience and enrolled in various programs to help students gain different skills and exposure to things. You can go and communicate with them if you have any problems or doubts. Your ideas are always welcome. There are various programs and workshops held for us by our faculty members who help us in continuous learning and development.
 

Placement Rating
Till now the highest package of our university is 84 LPA. Various companies like Amazon, Atlassian, DE Shaw, Microsoft, and Accenture come for the recruitment process and hire students with hefty packages. If we talk about the placement cell of our university they are very supportive and active in providing you the information about the latest job openings asap so that it can't be missed, as there are a lot of openings which used to come but students are not aware of them and they got closed.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels for both girls and boys are available with all the facilities like AC, Wi-Fi, RO water, laundry, cleaning, mattresses, good quality food, and evening snacks are also provided. The last time for girls to enter the hostel is 8 pm. 24x7 medical facility is available in the hostel. Both sharing rooms for 2 girls and single rooms for 1 girl are available in the hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is the best of our university as I mentioned earlier it is a campus filled with greenery. There are well-spaced classrooms, air-conditioned labs, a library for each department, an auditorium for seminars and programs, a badminton court, a basketball court, canteens, and different blocks for different departments. Students can enroll in various indoor games also for extracurricular activities.
 

Campus Rating
Life at GEU is wonderful. You will see yourself engaged in various activities other than studies which will help you learn new things and develop your interpersonal skills. There are many clubs in our university in which you can enroll according to your interests. An annual fest GRAFEST which is the largest fest in Uttarakhand and many festivals are also celebrated in the university so if you are a student who lives far away then you can enjoy those festivals in university itself.
