My overall experience is 10/10. Jamia University is not only a place to learn but a major part of the students’ growth. One should definitely be a part of this institute to outgrow themselves and get molded into a better version of them. The faculty, infrastructure, facilities, curriculum, everything is up to the mark. I would totally recommend this institute to the aspiring students.

The course involves various subjects ranging from semester 1 to semester 4. This includes Radio, Still Photography, Digital Media and Arts, Sound, Animation, Visual Arts, Television, Editing, Screenwriting, New Media and Cultures, Advanced Editing and Photography, Cinematography, Cartooning, and many other subjects. These are carefully included in the curriculum for the ease of the students to have hands on experience in all the fields of study.

The course that I'm enrolled in is M.A (Mass Communication). The faculty here is one of the best in Asia, JMI ranks 2nd in the Mass Communication faculty. The faculty is helpful and experienced. They give the best of education to the students along with the years of experience they hold. The curriculum is taught with utmost efficiency and patience, catering to the diversity of students who are enrolled in the course. Their style of teaching is very professional.

Yes, there are different Placement Cells for different departments. The placements are average to good. Every student is allowed to sit and appear for placement interviews. The college does whatever it takes to call the best of companies. There are even job fests that are conducted by placement cells throughout the year.

The academics infrastructure is something that Jamia Millia Islamia excels in. It’s the USP of the college. Every department is carefully constructed aiding to what the subject offers. The presence of clean and sanitised canteen, washrooms and common rooms are one thing that will catch the eyes of the students. The amenities involve good washrooms, resting areas, large and spacious reading halls and library, common rooms for girls, air-conditioned classrooms and all other facilities like studio, halls, auditoriums, etc.

The campus life is very vibrant and competitive. No one will be seen doing nothing; everyone around the campus can be seen indulged in some or the other activities. The warm and friendly environment offers a space for learning and growth. The campus has a breath-taking infrastructure with lawns in every department for the students to sit and relax. Canteen facility also adds up to a good campus life. There are interactive clubs and societies that work actively in fostering a good, healthy working environment. Fests are conducted throughout the year.
