Great experience at Mumbai University

Overall Rating
I completed my Bachelor of Commerce from University of Mumbai and being a student, I can assure you that this university will not only give you quality education but also a way to lead a great lifestyle. I had a great experience, and I wish everyone joining this university best of luck and a great future ahead.
 

Academics Rating
University of Mumbai offers different courses in many fields such as Commerce, Arts, Economics, and Law. The fee and the Eligibility criteria differ from courses to courses respectively. All I can say is that if anyone wants to pursue Ph.D. in any subject, then this place is the best.
 

Faculty Rating
There is a saying that if any college or university has a great and supportive faculty then it is a good university, which is true because I had the best faculty who were highly qualified and knowledgeable. The staff members have the entire details of the university, and it helps the newcomers to guide them in their new journey.
 

Placement Rating
No, it doesn’t offer placement in any of the courses.
 

Hostel Rating
The university has hostels for Indians as well as for NRI students. The fee is also reasonable, and the hostel has facilities like food court, parking, library, Laboratory, Playing court, etc.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The overall infrastructure of the university is good and has a huge space for parking and a sitting area. Each department is divided into different blocks and each block has labels that help students to guide themselves. The University has a drinking water facility, washroom and tight security. The campus is something that needs to be explored.
 

Campus Rating
Mumbai University organises festivals and cultural events. Beyond that, there are a few more social activities which include Environment change and Women empowerment. The crowd is engaging and participates in many activities including NRIs; this makes the campus life more beautiful.

  • Choose B.A.LL.B Course at University of Mumbai

    Kalina Campus of Mumbai University is where the Law department is and we just have two floors assigned. Since most universities are small, in Mumbai, our university campus is used for many universities’ guest lectures and seminars and we get the advantage there, as university students are also permitted to attend those events. Placements are a bit sparse and that is the only drawback as otherwise studying law from University of Mumbai is a bigger novelty than studying in MNLU or GLC.... Read Full Review

    So it's been 2 to 3 years in this university and it has been a rollercoaster ride indeed. The university is improving a lot though in every aspect. The seniors are cooperative. Moreover, the professors are helpful as well. The management of the university can be better though. It provides you time to do internships in various places so that's truly a plus point.   • Understanding the Exam Structure and Admission Process at University of Mumbai

    I chose this university because of the faculty which is very supportive. I'm a chess player and the faculties are very approachable when it comes to chess. My experience is good at University of Mumbai. If you are a sports player then this is the best university for you. Other than sports this university is good for academics as well.     College is surrounded by lush gardens and trees, which makes you forget the crowded and fast life of Mumbai. Being a student of business I was very lucky to get admission here and got to live the life of Mumbai. College took us on a lot of industrial visits and helped us get internships in some MNCs.
