I was interested in AI and VIT Bhopal has a branch in CSE called AI and ML that made me choose this university. I would ask others to join if they want to learn things that are out of the box and will make you versatile.

The course that I chose is CSE with specialization in AI and ML. as the name suggests, it is related to AI and Machine Learning where you will study about AI, how it works, and how you can build your own AI and get jobs in various multinational companies. Entry requirement is to have minimum 60% marks in PCM stream in 12th standard. The branch you get depends on your rank in VITEEE (The entrance exam for VIT is all the campuses).

All the faculty members are PhD holders. Most of them are junior professors and some of them are senior professors. Most of them are very easy to talk with. While teaching, they will use various methods like white boards, projectors, etc. to teach. If you do not understand a topic, you can ask them or even go to their cabins.

Yes, we have a placement cell at VIT Bhopal. They would start making us ready for placements from third year. Therefore, the placement cell is very active, you just need to work hard, and they will help you and guarantee you a good job.

Yes, we have boy and girl’s hostel in our university. The boys have 7 hostels and girls have 2 hostels. Boys hostel have room varying from 8-bedded non-AC rooms to 2-bedded AC rooms. Even the rooms you get depend on your VITEEE rank. Block 1 is very huge, the first two floors have almost 100 rooms, and rest 5 floors have around 50 rooms. Upper 3 floors are all AC rooms. Block 2, 3, 4, and 5 are similar to each other. They are premium blocks and can accommodate 4 students in one room and lowest is 2 students. In block 4 where I lived, every room is AC room. Block 6 and block 7 are twin towers and is like block 1 in case of room types. The hostels have water coolers, filters, hot water supply for drinking and bathing, area for washing clothes, clean toilets and mirrors and many more. You even have a convenience store that is open until 9 PM. You can play badminton, basketball, table tennis chess, etc. inside the hostels as they also have playing areas in the centre of each hostel.

VIT Bhopal has 4 academic buildings. The main academic building is named AB and is very huge it has 5 floors with each floor having 20 to 30 rooms, and design of the academic block is very sleek and modern. New academic block is named AB 2, which was opened newly, and its design is more modern than AB. This is a much newer building and is very big too. It has an open-air central hall. The classrooms are much bigger and are much nearer to the hostels then Bathe others 2 blocks are lab complex and Architecture block. The lab complex contains all the labs of various branches along with the placement halls. The architecture block is also new and only students from B.Arch have classes there. Other than, you have a multipurpose hall where you can play basketball, table tennis, and badminton. You have 2 canteens where you can avail both veg and non-veg food options.

The overall campus life is quite normal and easy. If you are new then it will take some time to adjust but once you are adjusted to the new surroundings, it will become fun and you will make hundreds of friends. The crowd at the university is the only down side as it is too much .The current crowd is like almost 12000 to 15000 students and it's too much hectic. There all clubs of all types here from technical to non-technical lines that organize event almost every day inside the campus. The annual fest is held in February and is named Advitya, which last for 3 days. Famous singers and bands come and perform for 3 days. This fest is a blast every year. In case of activities, you can pretty much do everything from sports to studies to reading and much more.
