Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University BJMC Review By Sakshi Punia

While searching for colleges to do BJMC I got selected by one of the topmost prestigious colleges in India DBGI, Dehradun. DBIT consists of twelve separate schools for specialized fields to general courses. When I entered the campus of DBIT its positive vibe and cheerful environment were phenomenal. Well, Dehradun is a big city which is dearly known for its view. The interesting part is that DBIT is an absolute opportunity for me to learn and explore new things. The management system of the college is excellent. No doubt they are experts and well-formed in their work. Their fees structure is also reasonable because what they have committed they are doing it definitely. Well-known companies are visited every year for crazy placements. DBGI provides you with the best scholarship no matter from which part of the country you belong.

I would say in academics DBIT is really on top. I have taken the BJMC. They explain everything in detail from the analytics and researcher perspective would be amazing. The one thing which I don’t like about this is that they were assigned so many assignments and provided deadly deadlines which created pressure on my shoulders. That is insane why we need to do this even in college. This is a really harsh thing that teachers wanted to do with students without knowing their opinions. Well, the attendance part is good; you can skip it if you want. Well, this is the key to getting a good job. With the help of these, I am able to secure a good job.

The faculties are excellent in most topics and have a good command over their subjects. They are not in a rush to finish courses and provide complete and essential knowledge of the topic which is needed. They focus more on students’ all-around development and assure that their cognitive and intellectual development would take place. With the academics, they also focus on sports Quota and have expert couches also. You can do extracurricular activities also. With my studies, I have joined music and self-development classes. They help you in learning new things but also wanted to see an improvement in our academic performance so we could easily learn long and short answers with effective techniques.

The criteria of placements are super cooled every year; near about 100 companies or more that would come to visit are college and select students. My seniors and batch mates got really great placement packages. The system of selecting students to get them ready for interviews to get some best internships in better companies such as Times of India, ABP News, and some digital Marketing companies also such as DAN group, WAT Consult. In the last round, there are many students who get placements in these companies. For BJMC students also they are doing well for our growth opportunities and helping us to find better internships. The highest package received in my batch is 6 lakh per annum.

The hostels of the college campus are well maintained and according to students’ requirements. Here we have a good hostel. This is our choice as more students are from different regions. Separated Hostels for girls and boys. College is doing its best to help us adjust to this place. They also offer PG services if we want to stay. 75% of students could live in these hostel rooms. We will have two beds and two students sharing one room. They are highly conscious of cleanliness. So we would get a great place to live which is very essential for a student. Take care of a hygienic environment and food. Most dishes of Uttarakhand are barely known to me but they are delicious in taste.

The campus is large and has different school buildings for different courses. All are splendid faculties and a great workspace area for us also. Although college is more focused on science departments. There we also have a big library in which we are free to read great books with our courses and also outside the course. My experience was great with the library sections. They also have a campus canteen in which we could enjoy our lunch. The infrastructure is solid; we are having different sections for each course-based activity. A seminar hall and three separate computer labs. Along with smart classes and wi-fi and air-conditioned classrooms or auditorium halls.

When we entered college it was quite new for us. As soon as we start exploring other things we could achieve a more highly variety of extracurricular activities. In starting they are most focused on the studies section. They organized other programs also like dance, and singing regional shows and gave a chance to learn new things with a new spirit and enthusiasm. This is a lucrative thing that provides an opportunity for a student to interact with the teachers. This helps us to develop an influential personality with confidence. They many regular programs like music fest, fresher parties and annual functions.
