Overall, this university is really good, and it is close to my house. The university was established in the year of 1921 and therefore it has a strong alumni network which helps students in various aspects. The branch of Chemical Engineering is good here. There are a variety of clubs that help students to develop their personality.

The university offers BBA, MBA, Ph.D, BCA, MCA and B.Tech. There are branches in B.Tech including Paint Technology, Plastic Technology, Food Technology, Oil Technology, Leather Technology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering. The entrance exam for Bachelor of Technology is JEE MAIN and it has its own counselling process in which you have to register.

The faculty is good here; they are very supportive and helpful in nature. There are professors in Labs who also hold Ph.D degrees. Their teaching methods are effective and also in the first year, we have to study subjects from different engineering branches so, faculties of different branches use to teach us.

Yes, the university has its Placement Cell and placements for Chemical Engineering are good and for Paint Technology placement record is 100%.

Yes, there are two campuses of my university. First, is the east campus and then there is a west campus. There are 6 girls’ hostels and 2 boys’ hostels in east campus. Additionally, there are other boys’ hostels in west campus as well. The boy’s hostels in east campus are for first year students only. The infrastructure of the girls' hostel is not that good, and the food is average. There is a basketball court and badminton court for daily practice but there is no night canteen in the hostel. Overall, hostel life is good with friends.

New buildings are well-maintained, but some other buildings are not that great. The university renovates buildings quite often and there are new departments for Chemical Engineering and Electronic Engineering which are very good. There are new labs, and the old labs are closed. There is one central library in front of the girl’s hostel.

The overall campus life is good, the infra structure is average because old buildings should be renovated. Most of the students are from Uttar Pradesh which is why there is no language barrier between us. There are so many clubs in the university for the students like Gruv for dance, Octave for singing, Poetry club, Dramatic club, etc. Sports facilities are also present in the campus. There are many sub - councils in university and the fests that are organised include Adhyaay for culture, Agaaz for sports, Technika, Samvaad, Hunkaar, etc. Other engaging activities are the events which are held in university like orientations for fresher’s, events in temples for auspicious days.
