My experience at BITS, Pilani

Overall Rating
BITS Pilani is among the best institutes in India with world class facilities and faculties. You get an overall learning in terms of your academics and extracurricular activities. Also, you get the flexibility of choosing specific courses and when you want to do them without the hassle of a fixed structure.
 

Academics Rating
I chose to pursue M.Sc. Economics from BITS Hyderabad because unlike other Economics courses, BITS have a strong Mathematics based curriculum which is really important for Economics. For admission, you have to appear for BITSAT, an entrance exam mandatory for admission in BITS. You are also taught all the general science for a more rounded education.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are the best. They will always make time to clear your doubts and BITS is the only institute where you can just walk into the faculty's chamber without any prior appointment. They will share the material which they taught in class, and it will be relevant to the current industry standards.
 

Placement Rating
We do have a Placement Cell. They really help us in placements.
 

Hostel Rating
We do have hostels. The hostels are above average, and you will get decent rooms with the necessary items for your needs.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is really beautiful. The campus has 11 academic blocks, and it is one of the most symmetrical structures I have ever seen. We also have a Students Amenities Centre which houses all the indoor games. There is a cricket, football and hockey ground, 2 volleyball courts, a running track and an Olympic sized swimming pool.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, the campus life is really enjoyable. You are given complete freedom to roam inside the campus. The fests are really amazing and we have a technical fest, a sports fest and a cultural fest. All the fests will have a DJ night and other professional shows. You will get to meet really good people and have a good time here.

    BITS Hyderabad is an amazing Institute where I get to explore so many things and interact with like-minded people. It took me out of my comfort zone and challenged me in every step of campus life which helped to grow academically and personally.   • BITSAT: Entry Requirements and Counseling at BITS Hyderabad

    BITS Hyderabad present in the outskirts of Hyderabad is the best institute you can get in Hyderabad (after IIT & IIIT of course). I have felt that the culture here is amazing. It is probably the only engineering degree where innovation is pushed by means of student led startups, making the overall experience better.     The overall experience is great. It has great infrastructure and gated community. The factors made me to use BITS is its strong network, academic flexibility, strong club culture, and many more. The one unique to BITS is its practice school program, where a student is exposed to industry of minimum of 8 months through internship.
