My views on Sri Venkateswara college, New Delhi

Overall Rating
The college is a nice place for students as Sri Venkateswara College is best known for its faculty, which continuously focuses on developing the students and themselves as well. The vibrant atmosphere of the college adds to the leadership and creativity of the students. It can be called a second home for students to accomplish their dreams.
 

Academics Rating
The academics at Sri Venkateswara College are very good with a strong focus on the holistic development of the students. Students have to study 3 main subjects associated with their course along with three extra subjects, that is, SEC (skill enhancement), VAC (value added) and GE (general elective) so that the students can develop overall in all dimensions of his interest. The academics of DU are also good in the sense that you get to study books written by foreign authors. I overall like the academics at the college with no room for complaints.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of Sri Venkateswara College is quite good. The teachers are very interactive with students and do not take many leaves as there might be a superstition in the minds of some people when the government college tag comes in. They continuously help students and motivate them to make them eager to learn more. They monitor the student's performance on a regular basis and provide good creative and innovative projects to the students.
 

Placement Rating
It is one of the best colleges in DU offering good placements ranging from 4 LPA to 13 LPA, not only in the commerce department but all the courses are given opportunities. Many companies visit the college to recruit some best minds.
 

Hostel Rating
The accommodation at Sri Venkateswara college is adequate for students, consisting of Wi-Fi, nutritious food and regular room cleaning. The college has a badminton court right outside it which is open at all times for the hostel students. There is a tight security and on-time notification to the parents in case of any issue with their ward.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is quite good for a government college. The classrooms are big enough and sports facilities like the tennis courts, badminton court, cricket nets and football ground are well maintained. The botanical and rock garden present on the campus adds to its beauty and greenery giving the atmosphere a fresh and greener look.
 

Campus Rating
Overall the college campus at SVC feels like home. You get to meet likeminded people as there are many societies to meet your interests. There is always something or the other going on in the college. The yearly college and sports fest is one of the best in the whole Delhi University. Also, you get good places outside the college to relax around in your free time.

    Sri Venkateswara College New Delhi has excellent infrastructure, prime location in south campus with easy connectivity and proximity to airport. The cultural fest provides great exposure and fun. Canteen serves very affordable, delicious, and hygienic food, making it favorite student spot. Maggi point offers refreshing coffee and maggi.     I like being part of the Sri Venkateswara College, New Delhi as much as anything. Stay focused and locked in with studies at this point in life is the most overall thing that I have learned so far. I am a part of 2 societies and varieties of societies are there to be a part of.     The overall facilities at Sri Venkateshwara College are excellent. It is one of the best colleges of South Campus of Delhi University. When I found out the alumni of this college are placed at top MNCs, I had decided to be one of them and took admission here.
