My Outlook on Jabalpur Engineering College

Overall Rating
JEC Jabalpur is one of the oldest colleges in the central region of Madhya Pradesh and is established in 1947. It is one of the first colleges that had Electronics and Telecommunication branch with all the facilities. It is also very popular for the same as well as for Mechanical Engineering branch. The college is very good, open to all the activities, and support the students.
 

Academics Rating
As per my opinion JEC Jabalpur is a good college and has many branches like IT, ECE, CSE, CE, ME, MT, AIDS, EE, IP, and various other branches for MCA and M.Sc students . To get admission in college, we need to clear the JEE exam with a good rank according to this rank, the counseling is done (MP state counseling) and then only you can get the admission.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members in the college are highly qualified and have a good knowledge in their subject as well as the other subjects too. They also help with the college works, hackathons, and various other activities. Their teaching style is very good and is easy to understand. Sometimes syllabus gets difficult to study but they teach in a very good way. Most of the teachers here are M.Tech, and PhD graduates.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell in our college. It is very active for students to acquire jobs and make them ready for the interview. In addition, JEC has a very strong alumni connection, which helps students to get placement because of alumni association where we can also apply for job and can get an offer from the company where the alumni works.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, JEC has both boys and girls hostel. Both of them have good facilities. Overall girl’s hostel is very good as compared to the boy’s hostel. They have many activities inside the hostel like football, cricket, etc.
 

Infrastructure Rating
JEC has a good infrastructure. Labs are highly equipped with instruments and machines. However, these machines need to be upgraded. We have separate buildings for every department and each department has Wi-Fi facility as well as proper well-maintained classrooms. Basic amenities like water cooler filters and canteen is also good.
 

Campus Rating
As compared to the other colleges, the campus life of the JEC is average as the college focus on the studies more than the fests. We have various clubs, which organize events. Some of the events are internal Hackathon, singing, cinematography, etc. Overall, the crowd is good. The best thing is that seniors are more helpful than the batch mates. They will guide you on how to clear exam, improve, or gain various skills through the things and even more.

    JEC is the most affordable and the oldest college in central India. The reason most people come here is its ROI i.e. Return of Investment. It is widely recognized for its mechanical branch.
