My Thoughts on Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology

Overall Rating
I love Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology because its academics are good. Its professors and staff are also good and have nice behavior. I join this institute because I wanted to explore the culture of Punjab.
 

Academics Rating
There are many branches of BE in the institute such as Electronic & Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering along with BS-MS dual degree course. Its admissions are through JEE Main. In other words, you can join this institute after passing 12th class and appearing in JEE Main.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculty members have graduated from government institutes. They mostly hold Doctorate degree. Their teaching style is nice. It would be better if they give some extra time to the students in order to clear their doubts. They teach us using smart boards and PDFs.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology has placement cell. It helps students in finding job opportunities as per their skills. One of the most important things to get placement is to maintain good CGPA. It also assists them to develop and enhance skills.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, it has hostel facilities. Though the food provided to the hostels need to be improved. Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology also has residential facilities for teaching staff.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are different academic blocks such as Computer Science block, Science block, Electrical block, Chemical block, Food block, Electronic & Computer Engineering block. The design and infrastructure of each building is nice. All the classrooms have basic academic facilities for the students.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is good. For me, it’s the best institute. I have good experience until now.

    I am going to complete one year here and my experience in this institute has been very good. First of all, the campus is very big and green. The professors here are very good. They take care of studies and personal life. There are sufficient amount of resources and you never feel that there is a lack of resources here.     Overall, our college is quite good. Like other engineering colleges, it has some good things, and some parts of the college need to be improved. Campus is beautiful; all the amenities are fulfilled whereas placement needs to be improved. I choose this college because of the rank I obtained in the entrance examination.
