Exploring campus life at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology

I am pursuing my bachelor of engineering (B.E.) degree from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology. The Institute is very beautiful with the campus being surrounded by greenery all around. There is a central library for students in which they provide books free of cost. A digital library facility is available for students. The students interact with computers and other devices. There are sports for entertainment of students in the college. In my opinion, all the facilities required are available in the campus itself.

Academics of Sant Laongowal Institute of Engineering and Technology are good. All courses are good for students to pursue their career in. They are conducting both the theory classes and practical. All the classes are conducted at a time. The criteria of selection in courses is done of the basis of on the basis of JEE main rank. Few seats in the 2 year of B.E. are open for diploma holders from any recognized Institute of India.

Faculty of Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology are very supportive. They help each student to learn and do practical work. All the faculties are well educated. The faculties of the Institute of core academic programs are great at what they do. They guide us to maintain high academic standards. They teach tough topics in easy way by giving examples. Their way of teaching is very fascinating. They are highly qualified professors (Ph.D). Some professors have written their own books that are very famous.

Placements at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology are good. According to Google the highest packages of the Institute is 18.5 LPA and the median packages is 4.10 LPA. There are so many companies that come to the campus every year. The NIRF ranking is 76. Google also comes to the campus for offering internship. Overall the highest package of college may vary this year. The recruiter companies take the students from B.E., M.Tech and Ph.D scholars.

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology is a residential campus. It has hostels for boys and four hostels for girls. The hostel can accommodate about 3400 students which include about 1000 girl’s students. The hostel provides indoor games facilities, Wi-Fi (limited), newspaper/magazines, and cable t.v. facilities. Hostel facility are provided to the students subject to availability and preference. The facilities are provided to the ones who live far away from their hometown. All the hostellers have to maintain discipline and will be abide by the rules framed by office dean from time to time.

The campus area of Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology is spread in and sprawling over more than four hundred acres of land. The Institute is wonderfully blessed with natural beauty, greenery serene and pollution free atmosphere. The campus is well maintained. There are large plantations carried out at the Institute. This makes the Institute an everlasting beauty. Campus has water bodies and is a paradise for bird watchers. It provides an atmosphere wherein a person becomes free from stress, anxiety and worries, converges his/her desire and start thinking and analyzing for making him/her physically fit, ethically strong and academically sturdy. The campus has a different block for different departments. All blocks are well maintained. Those blocks are old and they are reconstructed and painted.

Campus life for students in Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology is good. Campus has restaurant, students activity center (sac), complex, and other things or places which attracts the students. In students activity centre there is a gymkhana, indoor games, yoga rooms and music and Instruments playing rooms. Students enjoy and learn by guides. In complex there is a temple for students and restaurant which is famous for restaurant. Also a swimming pool for the students. Zoos and lakes are in campus. Students sit and enjoy the moments. There is a nursery where different types of plants are growing. Overall there is a good life for students.
