My 4-Year Journey in SIST Chennai

Overall Rating
I had an excellent experience here. I chose this institute because it has high standards in academics and give training to students from well trained lecturers. I would suggest Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology for best infrastructure, teaching environment, and also for best career.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Computer Science and Engineering branch in B.Tech. I am very much interested in Technology and that is why I picked this branch to sharpen my career in great way. It gives maximum grip on the technology. One of the things that impressed me the most was that it doesn’t require students to have higher marks for admissions as it believes in working hard and training students to its best to sharpen their skills. Coming to exams frequency, per year there were 2 semesters and per semester there were 2 mid-sem exams. Overall, each course had 8 semesters. Academics preparations are very seriously taken here.
This particular institution takes yearly fee, which is reasonable. We can apply for scholarships also.
 

Faculty Rating
They are very highly qualified lecturers. They explain everything very clearly with possible live examples and solve within minutes. They have strong problem solving skills and very friendly in nature with students. My overall experience with teachers working here is good as they are ready to they help me during hard times and encourage me to tackle all the issues. They are the best motivators in my campus life.
 

Placement Rating
In this institute, everyone gets a good placement. Highest package as of now is 45 LPA offered by “VIRTUSA” company. So many multinational companies visit the institute. This is the best place for placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Here, It provides hostel for both boys and girls.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The whole institute was situated in 500 acres. It is full of greenery. It is the best place to relax for students. Library is also a very pleasant place in my institute. It has a variety of books. There are some computer systems in the department.
 

Campus Rating
Overall experience was good. I learnt many new things here. It was the best journey of my life. I spent good time with my friends. In Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, there are so many clubs to explore. Yearly, it conducts institute fest and invites celebrities for the success of the fest and also to cheer up the students. We not only focus on education and but also focus on student’s physical strength by encouraging students to play games like cricket, basketball, badminton, etc. It was really a wonderful experience.
