NM College Mumbai is top Choice for Commerce Students

I enjoyed and devoured every single day in this College. Yes, it is strict in academics and attendance but all that is for your good. It is a part of very well known SVKM so they are known for their prestigious colleges like Mithibai NM, etc. The different thing about this college is they perfectly balance the extracurricular activities and academic, thus it Transforms the student's overall personality and gets them all set for the industry. They also take you to industrial visits, which will help you in better understanding of practical situation other than just the book knowledge.

I have heard a lot about this course by my family and friends. So I was looking forward from a long time to go to this college. So the requirement to get into this college is like to score a great. It's a prestigious competitive college so you will need above 90 % at least. Below 90 it is difficult even with the minority. Frequency of the exams was like on every semester end there's a exam held, Erich that decides whether you will be going in next semester or not. You have to prepare thoroughly for the exams as the level is way too difficult. You have to maintain a certain high % of attendance otherwise they will get you debarred from the college.

I paid Rs. 55,000 for the course of bachelor of commerce in accounting and finance in Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. There are 3 years mainly and you have an option for doing a 4th year which will get you a honors degree.

The faculties in the college are just mind-blowing. They are full of knowledge and professionalism. They will go to extent to get your doubts and concepts clear. They'll take you to flied visits industrial visits, etc. and make you ready for handling practical situations in the corporate world. Each classroom has a white board and a smart board. Most of the teachers show PPT’s made by them to teach us. Group discussions, debates and projects are daily involved in the teaching process by the respective faculties. The teachers are pretty approachable. They will solve your doubts easily. Overall I really liked the faculties that taught us in the college during the course.

SVKM's Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics are known for their luxurious infrastructure in their colleges. The size of the campus is small like there is no playground. But the interior just feels like you entered a five star hotel. The lighting, the centralized AC, the washrooms, etc. everything's so well cleaned and smells nice too. They have 8 lifts in total for students and teacher each having an operator in them. The library is huge. They also have a reading room where students can study, do their work, use computers, also they have an e-library besides the reading room which has only computers for the students to use. They also have facilities like girls common room on 4th floor. They have gymkhanas where students can play table tennis, carom, etc. There are total of 7 floors and each floor has separate washrooms for boys and girls. There is drinking water available in the college on each floor. There is a medical room on the ground floor in case something happens. There's a cafeteria in the basement of the college. Yes, our college had a basement. The canteen serves hygienic food that is affordable and tasty. I personally like the pink sauce pasta, Peri-Peri fries and farmhouse pizza.

I loved my time when I was here. I lived the surroundings, the infrastructure, I just loved it all. The college crowd is mostly rich and they have a Hugh standard. Making friends is easy sometimes. It depends upon your skills. People are good here. They will behave nicely with you. There are many clubs and committees in this college and you can be a part of any by giving a simple interview and experience decision making and practical things. At the end you will get a certificate of you work which you can use in future for work experience in you CV. There are many fests in the college like annual day, ‘Umang’ which is Asia's largest growing college fest, etc. The students grow crazy about this fest. Yes, it is completely free for all the students for any college. I loved my time here. My experience was great.
