VISTAS Chennai is the Top Choice for Aspiring Pilots

Hello, talking about my overall experience, this University is actually the best. The infrastructure is not same as I expected but the education system is literally awesome. They are strict in education but the University is liberal. Actually this is the first University that I have visited. I applied for 2 to 3 Universities but this was my first choice. This University liberality made me feel good, of course. There are many guards around there but it's a nice University. The particular reason for me to choose it is the education system. I asked many people for a feedback and all of them guaranteed that you will get any arrears you will definitely pass as they will train you like that. This is the reason most of the students choose this University. The difference in this University is that I never heard negatives about this University like many others. I haven’t heard anything negative about the University.

I chose B.Sc. aviation course in this University. My ambition is to become a pilot so I joined this University. Most of the instructors know flying or at least they were in their field job. They share their experience to motivate us and their way of teaching is so fine. They clearly explain every doubt and motivate us to get more scores. They also have a special course for the students who are interested to become a pilot. There is a ground class of CPL commercial pilot license. It's running by MH cockpit. I joined in that too and it was actually awesome.

Well, when it comes to fees at VELS University, there are some mixed reviews of students. In my opinion its correct fees structure per semester is Rs. 1 lakh so 2 lack per year. The reason why I'm saying this is because there are more Universities whose fees structure was very high like more than 1 lakh per semester.

All my faculties have great experience in this course field. As I already mentioned most of instructors have experience in aviation sectors at VELS University. Some instructors are pilots and some have applied for pilot job in airlines. The facilities are not liberal when it comes to education but when it's all about fun celebrating they let us enjoy the time. They are only strict at class but outside we are friends. That's why I like this University the most. We go to canteen with our faculties sometimes and they sponsor our meals.

VELS University provides placements for the students who score good marks. This year our seniors got internships. They provide internship anywhere in India.

Coming to infrastructure of VELS University, this is the place where I got disappointed. Moving to University from school, I had some expectations in infrastructure but no such thing happened. There are no interesting buildings or modern buildings. There are normal blocks of buildingsonly. There is a stall in every corner of this University and canteen. I don't know much about sports but I think there is football and cricket ground. There are many blocks in the building which are named successfully on people names. There is an auditorium and securities. There are many guards around the University. They are friendly but at the same time they are little strict.

Overall campus life is totally good for me. It's a good place for study and also enjoying. VELS University is crowded but the case doesn’t remain the same every day. Yes, there are many clubs like dance, modeling, etc. More extracurricular activities are planned there. In my department there is a special club which is called aero club, it means they give some topics related to aviation projects and we need to do that with our own ideas. I chose firefighter drone. We needed to add some new features, create our invention. If we succeed, they give certificate and provide lakhs of funds to create an actual product. It's a team working club not only B. Sc. It is the same case for every aviation department.
