Build Future in VELS University Chennai

Overall Rating
My overall experience at VELS University is good. The faculties are very supportive and friendly. They encourage us to participate in competitions. There are plenty of opportunities available for the students which will help in their personal growth. Infrastructure is well maintained and I have learnt several things here. There is a room for improvement in the placement. Overall, it is a good University. It is accredited by NAAC & NBA.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.A.LL.B (Hons.). The eligibility criteria are the students must have passed their class 12th boards with good marks. Exams are conducted regularly. 2 CAT exams are also conducted. The students also have to do an internship in every semester. It is mandatory for all the students. The academics are good and also provide practical exposure to the students.
The students can pay the fee semester wise. The University also provides scholarship to the students who have got the admission through the entrance exam.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very friendly and supportive here. They guide us throughout the academic year and they also guide us after the completion of the course. Method of teaching includes PPTs, white boards, group discussion, etc. The teachers have good education background. Most of the teachers have done Ph.D in their respective field. The problem solving abilities of the teachers is also good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has several academic blocks dedicated to different departments. The classrooms are fully air conditioned and are equipped with digital tools. The campus has library, moot court hall, auditorium etc. We have 2-3 canteens within the campus. We have a small park which is surrounded by trees. We have other facilities as well such as medical room, xerox shop, etc.
 

Campus Rating
Overall my campus life at VELS University is good. The campus is not much crowded. Events and fests are conducted on regular basis. This University also conducts extracurricular activities for the students.
