Unpacking Campus Life at Mithibai College: A Freshman's POV

Overall Rating
I am still a fresher as I am in my second semester and have seen a lot of purple patch already. I foresee though a lot of it coming as our college rocks. It is a perfect booster for students like us who are fresh and full of energy. One thing that I will have to admit is that when you are at the campus of Mithibai College of Arts, you will feel that you have highest energy. This it speaks about the volume and the value that our college brings.
 

Academics Rating
More than academics is what our college believes in and that is the process that it follows. Academics here more than anything infuse us with a strong belief that yes we are pursuing just a mere commerce degree but there is much more to it. However, the quality of education provided here is also good.
Fee is around Rs. 10,000 a year and the entire course fee for our course is around Rs. 30,000. So, getting a graduate degree in this cost and that too from an elite MU college is exciting.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties here have inherent a belief in students that how can we maximize from our course. Just covering the syllabus and learning from textbooks will not lead us anywhere. Nearly 30% of the students are pursuing CA alongside. Some are preparing for government exams and some for MBA. So, faculties are the ones who have given us confidence and showed the path which we should follow, if we want to make a career. So, for students who are chasing a dream, faculties of this college is what they need who can guide them accordingly.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placements cell, which controls the placement activities have managed or rather, did best to find jobs, or at least lined up students for interviews with some of the biggest corporate houses. Some big names that come to the campus for placements are KPMG, EY, and Deloitte.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Though, all the facilities are available in the college campus, I wish there was a separate campus. Canteen is one and is shared by three-college buildings. Sports room again one has to skip a lecture to see himself/herself playing in the slim facilities that are there. Classrooms are the best part of our campus; not just technology wise as they are fully enabled but comfort wise too, they are best.
 

Campus Rating
What works best for any college students is the kind of campus life that they enjoy. Now the best part of our campus life is that there is not any discrimination. Anybody is free to join any society as if I am a part of MCC (Mithibai Cultural Committee) and we look after the fest activities. Our fest ‘Kshitij’ is one of the best as 400 students of our college work tirelessly to make it a successful fest. So, not even an entire one year spent on this campus but memories for lifetime have already been made.

    From an academic and campus life point of view, Mithibai College is one of the best places to be in. I say this for a specific reason, as our college hosts some of the most prominent fests and events. When it comes to academics, we are still among the top few colleges of Mumbai University where strict or minimum attendance criteria still exists.     Mithibai is one of the best college in Mumbai. One will find best faculty, AC classrooms, best infrastructure, canteen, and much more. The crowd of students is also nice, you will love the vibe here. In addition, one should know that this college, it is very strict about.     Mithibai College of Arts is famous for its BA courses and I can see why. My personal experience here I would say is amazing. It not only focuses on academics but also over the general development of the student. The professors are great really smart.
