Why Should You Choose LPU?

Overall Rating
With times changing, the expectations of students from their college or university also increase and this University, on that front is perhaps among those universities, which have lived up to the expectations of the students. LPU is not a product of small university but a university, which was made grand in stature right from the beginning. One of the largest private universities in India, it overall is more than just magnificent. It has phenomenal crowd, legendary faculties and above all the world-class infrastructure, which is why 75% of the students here are from other cities.
 

Academics Rating
About academics, I would say the university has systematic control because our semester starting to semester ending, academics head into just one direction and that is uphill. LPU has its own entrance exam called LPUNEST and admissions are provided on the basis of that score. For CSE, you have to be a smart and hardworking student, as just 300 seats for CSE branch are given and thousands of students apply for that. Exams have the same module, as we have an internal exam or a mid-semester exam; and then a final exam The ratio of both the exams is 30 & 70 respectively.
Fees is close to 3 LPA, but students who score well in LPUNEST get 20% scholarships, and the ones with over 90% or more in HSC also get 20% scholarships.
 

Faculty Rating
Excellent teaching standard is what I have seen at LPU, Jalandhar. The post exam things where faculties distribute prizes to the toppers are so heartening to see. The pre-prize distribution too has to be looked upon, as to make students worthy of that prizes; they make students work hard. Use of AI in assignments has been allowed now as how effectively we can use AI is taught through that. Every drill, or the lab sessions has something new, as corporate are invited for some lab workshops. Therefore, academics here are far better and that is why students from far off places come and study here.
 

Placement Rating
Placements here are astonishing, as already, over 100 companies have made MOUs with the university and even though we are a crowded college, over 80% or perhaps more students are placed directly from campus placement drive.
 

Hostel Rating
Apartment styled hostels are provided; two seater rooms to 4 seater rooms all are available. Rooms are exceptional and food is good. However, the facilities come along, as we have refrigerators, laundry service and a cleaning staff that makes sure that your rooms are cleaned on a daily basis.
 

Infrastructure Rating
LPU Jalandhar is a small town in itself. It is a town in terms of area, but a smart city in terms of facilities. We have gardens, shops, hostels, bus facilities and arguably one of the cleanest campuses. It has everything that a smart city can have. Wi-Fi generator backed electricity and most importantly the security at the campus. World-class sports stadium, amphitheater and many seminar halls are there.
 

Campus Rating
Since majority of crowd come from different places, it is a fun living experience, as coming from Lucknow where everybody speaks the same way, lives the same way, I would have never imagined I will see a campus where not just students from various parts of India but various countries too will be studying under the same shade. Therefore, for me this it was the biggest takeaway of a great campus life. Events are a constant occurrence here, as music is soul of Punjab and we have many musical fests at campus like YouthVibe and Mirage fest.

    To be honest this college was not my first choice I attempted IPMAT exam for admission in IIM Indore but couldn't crack it. So I went through lot of websites on internet and came across LPU. They were providing this course under 15 lakhs whereas other colleges like Nirma had fees up to 30 lakhs. When I came to University I was amazed to see it's beautiful campus, large and surrounded by gardens and trees. People from all over India are there in LPU and there is no ragging.     LPU offers you an average university experience. The curriculum is good. The infrastructure is nice. Classes are comfortable. But it lacks in campus life. There are less number of class tours, industrial visits, or picnics. The factor that made me choose or opt for LPU Jalandhar is the it provides at exposure all India level.     The overall experience that I observed here is a good facility and the advanced technology used. The largest campus with good infrastructure and good environment and I found it better than others because of the placement records. In comparison to other states University it always is a top one.
