LSR review an honest experience

Overall Rating
When I was in 12th grade, I decided to try for LSR New Delhi. I really wanted English (Hons.) for my UG degree. As a keen reader and writer, I decided to study hard for CUET, my 1st preference was English (Hons.) in LSR, I scored 710/800 so I got admission in it easily. I wanted this college as it is considered the best college in DU especially for girls; also, it is near my home, so yeah I decided to be there. The professors are excessively good, they teach in great way. I would suggest others who want to be part of LSR, please do it, you will not regret joining LSR.
 

Academics Rating
Eligibility criteria to get into LSR are CUET. Minimum marks required are 600//800 or more if you don't have any reservation. And if you have reservation, then you can expect admission in 500 score till 3rd list comes out. If you are someone wants to opt my course only for learning English them don't opt for it, you'll really mess up. But if you are someone who loves reading and can read multiple things on same topic without getting bored, then you're good to go.
Fee majorly depends on the course you selected.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of every department in LSR is good, every classroom has white board and projector, everything you need for presentation or any tool to teach students you'll easily get it. The faculties are really great, if I talk about faculty they are very cheerful and respectful towards you and have very good approach for teaching, they are lenient and serious at the same time, they may cancel classes but inform earlier if they do so. Professors are approachable, they are always open for your doubts, there's always a doubt class after lecture, you can ask them with your peers.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell is good, they give you internship opportunities in big companies like McKinsey, Accenture, etc. If you want, you can enroll in this from 1st year itself so you can efficiently use your summer holidays for the same and enhance your CV.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is provided, washrooms are big enough and rooms are good. Mess food is good, and quite acceptable for maintaining your health. Also, there are many PGs on walking distance at reasonable prices. Security is tight enough.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus academic blocks and structure is good. Seats are great, medical facility in college is good, security is tight and you won't get entry without ID card even if guard knows you. Transport facility is available and we have 2 metro stations on walking distance. Even rickshaws are always there at reasonable prices. My favorite place is the library and reference room, I study there peacefully without getting distracted, AC is also available there. Sports ground is big enough, they prepare you for all types of sport you want to play.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good excessively good, you will feel free and energetic between educated girls. Every other day speakers are invited or any other activity will be happening. You will find cheerful seniors; some people are practicing Drama, Dance and lot more, all around the campus. Activities happen quiet often during college hours, but it won't hinder your college studies, students participate in multiple activities and it gives you space to open up and understand yourself better. There are many society that gives you various platforms to showcase your skills/talents.

    The course I chosen is Journalism because I wish to pursue a career in editorial or PR in the future. To get admission in BA (Hons.) Journalism, you need to qualify CUET exam. The first round cutoff for this year was 770/800. For CUET, there are two available subject combinations to qualify.     Before coming here, I was so skeptical whether I would find any genuine person or girls would be toxic, but to my surprise everything is so nice here, the people, the environment, the work culture, infrastructure everything. So, if anyone getting LSR New Delhi, just go for it you are not going to regret at all. Seniors are so helpful, people are so kind, and faculty is also amazing, so overall it is a good experience.     I loved my experience in this college. Being a first year student pursuing Economic (Hons.), I think the glorified picture of Lady Shri Ram College pictured outside DU, is indeed true. Particularly for economics, this is genuinely the best college. I have gained both knowledge and confidence here. The campus itself is very beautiful with lush green lawns the iconic red brick architecture of DU. There are many societies here, covering everything a student may be interested in.     My overall experience at Lady Shri Ram College is very good. The campus of the college is very good and Friendly. The environment of our college is very safe and feels like home.     My learning experience has been truly amazing with amazing teachers, curriculum and all. I chose this college because of its popularity, good placements and quality education. It is very different from other colleges in terms of security and environment.
