Fees of B.Sc (Design) with Multimedia at LPU Jalandhar is Rs. 1,20,000/- per semester

My experience with Lovely professional University has been fascinating. I am enrolled in an Animation course. I went for this university after a lot of research and consideration. My overall experience has been good, because I have found a lot of good people here who helped me gain confidence and helped me refine my skills. In this way both my social life and academic life have been improved by this University.

The course I choose is B.Sc (Design) with Multimedia (Animation & VFX). I chose this course because I have always been interested in drawing and creative learning, after studying more I found that animation would be the best course and career for me. I took time and searched for multiple Universities and Institutes across India. I choose this University because of its location and the security it was providing. The examination process was quite easy too. For my course the eligibility criteria is not that critical. Design exams are more based on qualitative thinking and creative thinking questions. Admission process was so smooth because the faculty and the online platform of the university are very clear with their information. The syllabus that is covered till now is very accurate to my field though I would say we need more time to gain excellence, but it is something that the department is working on. Also, this University is very helpful and supportive to the students looking forward to gain financial independence, be it startups, internship, or further studies abroad.

The accurate fees for my course is Rs. 1,20,000/- per semester. There are scholarships and financial aids available for students, scholarships depend on the grade scored in the entrance exam. There are different marks for these scholarships. I scored enough marks to gain 40% scholarship which reduced my tuition fees to Rs. 72,000/- per semester which makes a big difference in the long run.

The faculty members of my course are experience holders and are well-versed in their profession. Most of the faculties are very professional, and at the same time very approachable. Their method of teaching varies. Our department has labs, projectors and the faculties prepare PPTs and Demos in accordance with their subjects.

The university does have placement cell. Every course has different faculties reaching out to them to provide proper information regarding the placement requirements and the mind set we should be ready with. I just completed my second year, so, I don't have a lot of experience in the placement programs.

The infrastructure is good; the campus size and campus vibes are amazing. The University offers great scenery with proper plant structures, and enough space for social gatherings of students. Our campus also has a lot of food courts near hostels, libraries and major departments which really makes exploring the campus more interesting. Campus also offers other facilities like mall, hotel, hospital, central library and two major auditoriums for gatherings. Considering my course, this university is the best because you can find friends who help you enjoy your University life which helps in finding inspiration for a creative course like mine.

Campus life at LPU, Jalandhar is interesting. The crowd here is very diverse so you find very interesting people to learn something new from. The University holds a number of events, we had concerts of Anuv Jain and Sunidhi Chauhan last year, and one of the grandest events held is ONEindia which brings together the diversity of the University and lasts for a month. The University has helped me grow in varied aspects of my life and I would always be grateful for the kind of connections I made here.
