My Personal opinion on SVC New Delhi: Best One in the City

Overall Rating
I always dreamt of being in Shri Venkateswara College when I was in class 12th. The infrastructure is very well maintained with spacious classes and playing ground. The large amount of greenery makes everything peaceful. The teachers ensure continuous classes and disciplined study environment, thereby making this College one of the best in Delhi University. The admin office is easily approachable and open for students with any kind of grievance.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.A program (Economics+ English) as my course, since I did not take Mathematics in class 12th and this was my only way of getting Economics. B.A program provides not only a major degree but also a minor degree and thus it gave me double benefits. Economics as it turns out, is a very scoring subject with high scopes in the future and English for me is a way out of stress.
The course I have chosen is quiet affordable with a fee of around Rs. 17,000/- yearly. The registration fee was around Rs. 5,000/-, which is a one-time thing.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very nice and knowledgeable. Most of my teachers are people I look up to for what I want to do with my future. The teachers always try to create a student friendly environment and a school like vibe with disciplined classes. Most teachers in my faculty teach through blackboard and some use PPTs to make it more informative. Various assignments are given to make the subject easy, including group discussions. The teachers are easily approachable and available. In my course, there are around 30 students per teacher.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in the College.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of SVC New Delhi is nice and well maintained. In the campus, each academic block is separate. The classes are spacious. There is a white board available in almost every class. The canteen is affordable and serves delicious food. My favorite part of the College is the Table Tennis room because it is one of the sports I'm very good at. All in all, the facilities and infrastructure is complimentary to my studies.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is everything and anything more than I imagined. The crowd is really amazing with so many knowledgeable seniors and peers to look up to and gain experience from. The seniors are very friendly and will always try to help you. In the College, there are several societies that cater to almost all your passions. Naming a few major ones would be 180DC, Enactus, etc. Our dance society ‘Verve’ is very famous in the south campus. The fests are the best time of the year.

    The overall experience of Sri Venkateswara College New Delhi is overwhelming positive as it is welcoming, inclusive, and supportive. All the students feel valued and respected. The reason why I chose this College was that it is one of the most reputed Colleges of Delhi University and one of the best for Commerce.     Intelligent and knowledgeable teachers who also help you in your personal issues as a mentor. The college has good management and senior-junior relationships are also good in here. Events which make the whole college participative and an enjoyable place supporting faculty and communities.     Sri Venkateswara College is popularly known as Venky and South Campus's SRCC when it comes to Commerce and Economics. Sri Venkateswara College can be called as the number one co-ed college in South Campus of Delhi University.
