Approximately Rs. 1,92,000/- per semester fee for B.Tech at KIIT Bhubaneswar

My overall experience at KIIT Bhubaneswar has been a roller coaster of a experience. To be very honest, everything here is very structured from faculty to campus life. The infrastructure is surreal. The faculty consists of top teachers passed out from top educational Institutions. The Institute offers quality education. We have different campuses for different branches. We even have a separate building for the training and placement cell, AKA, and Career school. The students belong from diverse backgrounds and ethnicity. From Assam to Rajasthan, every bit of India is present here.

I am third year CSE student, currently in my 5th semester. You have to appear for KIITEE for getting admission into the Institute. There are certain cutoffs for certain branches. There’s a whole procedure for counseling. KIITEE is conducted 3 times a year. Students can also get admission based on the JEE Main percentile. The academic life prepares the students well for real life challenges but students are required to put in their efforts to get selected. The Institute does its best but the rest depends on the student.

The fee for my course is same as all the other branches. The course fee is around Rs. 1,92,000/- per semester. The fee structured is revised frequently, so it is subject to change.

The faculty members are great. Students get to choose the faculty members every semester, which is a great thing. The teachers have completed their education from renowned educational Institutions and most of them teach very well. The teachers use whiteboard, PPTs, and smart boards to teach the students. They are extremely approachable. Every student is assigned to a mentor (a teacher) who looks after the student. The mentor looks after the student’s hostel needs, leaves record, absentees, marks and other things.

The Institute offers residential facilities.

The campus is a bit too huge which is a great advantage but again buggies / carts provided by the Institute are mostly filled. The classrooms are air-conditioned and very clean. Ventilation is there and a seating capacity of 100 students per class is there. All academic facilities like library, labs, seminar halls, conference halls, etc. is there. My favourite thing about the infrastructure of our Institute is its library. There are a lot of canteens in the campus. Also, there are facilities to provide medical assistance to students in times of need.

The campus life at KIIT Bhubaneswar is great. The only thing that is missing in my opinion is the crowd of the Institute. It is mixed and diverse. There are a number of student clubs. I am in a few of them and it’s very fun and interactive. There is a lot of activates that keep happening in the Institute every day. Every festival is celebrated and there’s only an annual fest held each year which is big budget fest and has many activities that keep the students entertained.
