Scholarships as per JEE Main and Class 12th score at Thapar University

I would highly recommendation Thapar University Patiala to others. If I talk about the infrastructure and the academics, they are amazing. The faculties here are well-qualified. The curriculum is updated and matches the requirements of the industry. There are also many extracurricular activities and societies in the University which builds you up with immense confidence. Fee is a bit high but it is worth studying at the University. Cultural activities and festivals are the major highlight for many students. Security is also top-notch where students making the students feel secure in the University premises.

I choose Electronics and Communication because I was always fascinated with IoT devices and systems embedded in it. Eligibility criterion is clearing JEE Main with a good score. Moreover, the students should have passed 12th Class with more than 60% in PCM. Post that, admission process includes online and offline counselling for seat allocation. Frequency of exams is as per the requirements. There are mid-term and final-term examinations. The assignments, quizzes and labs attended by the students are also evaluated.

Total estimated fee structure for my course costs around Rs. 25,00,000/-. Discounts or scholarships are based on merit of the students in JEE Main or 12th Class.

The faculty is highly qualified. There are Ph.D scholars with global exposure and research background in AI and VLSI. They take care of theoretical teaching with hands-on problem-solving using digital tools, tutorials, lab kits, and more. Small tutorial groups are assigned to foster deeper understanding of concepts. Faculty use innovative tools. The teacher to student ratio is 1:30, i.e., one faculty member is there for every 30 students. Faculty clears perosnalised doubts and students are even welcomed to faculty rooms. The bonds that the students share with the teachers are good too.

After completion of degree through my course, there are great career opportunities in VLSI Design & Robotics. Machine learning & Data Analytics, etc. Good companies like Samsung, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, and others come for placements. There are decent average packages offered to students placed through the University’s placement cell.

The 250 acre Wi-Fi enabled campus has modern classrooms with equipped labs. The ‘Nava Nalanda Central Library’ is world-class and hostels are clean with good amenities. There are also great food courts with shopping complex and also there are sports facilities at the University. There are high speed internet innovation and tech labs. Overall, the infrastructure support both academic and extracurricular activities making student life convenient, modern and engaging. My favorite thing about the infrastructure are its high tech hostels and the COS complex with great food options and in-house stationary shops. Campus offers safe and green surroundings with numerous cafeterias and recreational zones. There is also a facility of e-rickshaw services available inside the campus which offers us a hassle-free experience.

Campus Life at Thapar University Patiala is vibrant at Thapar University with rich culture and social atmosphere. Both non-technical and technical clubs are there. Annual fest like ‘Saturnalia’- the techno-cultural fest and ‘Urja’- the sports fest keep students actively engaged. Overall, students enjoy the campus life since their academic and non-academic lives are well-balanced here. The campus offers a lovely and enriching experience throughout the academic journeys of students.
