PCCoE Pune: Academics, Infrastructure & Various Others

Overall Rating
My experience in this College is quite good. This College encourages students to study well. It focuses on discipline and technical growth. They develop the overall personality of the students through various activities. The environment here is competitive but in a positive way. I chose this College because of its academics and reputation. It is one of the most reputed Colleges in Pune.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Information Technology in PCCoE Pune. I chose this course because I have an interest in technology, computers, and coding. I always wanted to pursue my career in this field. The syllabus is according to the industry trends. The academics here are great.
The fee of my course is Rs. 1,75,000/- per year. The fee depends on the category of the students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of PCCoE Pune are quite knowledgeable and approachable. The teaching methods they use is the blackboard and PPT. Most of the professors are highly educated and they have done Ph.D in their respective field. The teacher to student ratio is well maintained. They provide special attention to each and every student. The problem solving abilities of the teachers are also good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the College has Training & Placement cell. It plays a very crucial role and prepares the students for job. The cell provides training to the students in the 3rd year. They teach all the aspects such as aptitude, soft skill, etc. It also conducts workshops, coding practice session, mock interviews, and group discussion.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the College offers residential facilities to the students. The rooms are available in triple occupancy. The rooms get clean every 2 times in a week. The mess is also there and the quality of the food is not up to the work. The hostel fee is around Rs. 1,55,000/- per year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of PCCoE Pune is well maintained and huge. The campus is very peaceful. The College offers various facilities to the students such as medical facilities, transportation facilities, etc. The academic buildings are well maintained and have adequate facilities. The classrooms have good seating capacity. Overall, the infrastructure is quite good.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is good till now. The campus crowd is very energetic. The College conducts various extracurricular activities for the students and several students also participate in it. They conduct various hackathons. The students can also join GDG, racing team, etc.

    So basically, the college is known for its placement record. Recently, our college got about 1000 students placed in different companies with the highest packages of 63 LPA.   • PCCoE has some pros and cons
     

    Overall Rating
    The overall view of my college was good. Coming from an academics point of view it is excellent. I feel as if I am going to school and not college. Here the professors are strict. All the assignments have to be completed on time. I got admission after giving the GATE exam. It is one of the good engineering colleges in Pune not only for B.E but also for master engineering.   • PCCOE is for those who can bear discipline

    For me personally PCCOE was one of the best engineering colleges in Pune that I have seen. There are many other engineering colleges in Pune like COEP, MIT WPU Faculty of Engineering, and Symbiosis Institute of Technology among other. There are pros and pros but few cons like the college is like a school where the discipline of certain level has to be maintained.     Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, Pune or simply PCCoE has been consistently ranked among the top five engineering colleges in Pune and 45th in India. It is ranked 30th in the private colleges of engineering in the Times Engineering Survey.
