Overall Rating
My overall campus life in Silicon University Bhubaneswar is good. The University is surrounded by Sikharchandi hill which gives the campus beautiful view. It has good coding culture and good academics. The main reason why I chose this University was that it has affordable fee structure. Faculties are helpful and co-operative.

Academics Rating
I am pursuing B.Tech CSE. I enroll myself for core branch. I wanted to do this course that's why I preferred this University. Eligibility criteria for this course are 45% in 12th standard with PCM stream and you have to appear in JEE Mains. You have to take part in OJEE counseling. They teach subjects which are industry. The exams are held timely. They have very strict rules. There are 4 to 5 invigilators during exam time.
The fees are affordable. The tuition fees is Rs. 2,00,000/- per year. The one time admission fees are Rs 20000 per year. If you get good rank in JEE Mains then you can get TFW and your fees will be Rs. 75,000/- per year.

Faculty Rating
The students and teacher ratio is good. There will be 65 to70 students & 1 teacher in the class. However, it clearly depending upon your course. Faculties are good and helpful. Most of the faculties have a Ph.D degree with sufficient knowledge about their subject. They use PPT, blackboard and conduct lab classes. Faculties are punctual about their time. The lab assistants are mostly humble. Teacher and student bond clearly will be how good you are blending with them.

Placement Rating
Yes, Silicon University Bhubaneswar provide placements to the students. The cell that takes care of placements is 'Industry Interface Cell'. Placements are average. You should attain 8.00 CGPA or more to be good applicable candidate. You must complete your semesters with no active backlogs. The University provides pre placement training in the 3rd year.

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is small still beautiful. The maximum classrooms are fully air conditioned. They have library, seminar hall, labs and auditorium etc. There are lot of useful books are in the library and you can issue books from there. It has Cafeteria, Gym, Skylab, Sports complex, and many more.

Campus Rating
My overall campus life was good. It was safe around the campus especially at night. There are many clubs in the University like Technology club, Social and Cultural club, Sports club, Literary club, and many more. The crowd is good and decent. The 2 main fests are ‘NIRMAN’ which is Tech fest where you can participate and win cash prize and ‘ZYGON’ which is Cultural fest where you can Dance, Sing and enjoy with your friends .

It conducts summer internship for students after every semester. Many seminar and webinar are conducted for students. Every student gets a faculty advisor who will look after us throughout the 4 years. A student mentor (senior) is also assigned for our help.... Read Full Review

Overall, the Silicon University felt a little short for the fees we give. Faculties are good. Some are great. There is Free Wi-Fi. Campus is moderately big. The library is good. It has a Decent environment. Attendance wise it is strict. Exams are moderately difficult, can pass with moderate amount of efforts. You don't have to study throughout the years to ace the exam. Just have to be consistent. Canteen and campus is nice and clean. Newer rooms are well furnished and classy. Older ones are dec... Read Full Review

My life in Silicon University is very memorable, exciting, and a bit complicated because all I have done is study. The faculties of this university are very good and understanding.
