My POV of HRC New Delhi: Placements, Campus, & More

Overall Rating
Hansraj College New Delhi is one of the best Institutions of this city, and I chose it for its academics, exposure, and North Campus fest culture. The experience is amazing and full of opportunities. They provide various facilities which makes our journey easy. The College offers many academic opportunities through 50+ active societies, seminars, workshops and events.
 

Academics Rating
I am currently in my third year of pursuing B.Com (Hons.) from this Institution. Here, Academics are strong and the teaching staff is good. T These activities really helped me in getting the exposure and practical experience which is very beneficial and add value to my CV also. Here, having 65% attendance is mandatory in the lectures for giving exams.
The fee structure is very affordable in North Colleges as compared to Private Institutions. Undergraduate degrees cost between Rs. 19,000/- to Rs. 50,000/- depending on the course.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at Hansraj College New Delhi is experienced and knowledgeable. Most Teachers explain concepts clearly and are supportive. They also encourage students to participate in seminars, workshops, and activities beyond academics for overall growth. The overall teaching staff is good, and we can approach them for guidance.
 

Placement Rating
Placements at this College are good, especially for Commerce courses like B.Com (Hons.). They also organise an internship fair every year where around 200 companies participate and offer internships across different fields.
 

Hostel Rating
I am a Delhi resident, so I do not stay in the hostel, but many of my friends do. It is located inside the campus, making it very convenient. Rooms and the food quality are decent. Overall, the accommodation is safe and suitable for students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Hansraj College New Delhi has excellent infrastructure. The Campus is very big, and the classrooms are well maintained and air conditioned, with at least two to three ACs in each room. The Institution also has a big library, several seminar halls, an auditorium, sports ground, a badminton court, girl's room, canteen, gym, garden and a cafe as well. Projectors are also available in the classrooms and we have Wi-Fi as well. There are many computer labs, science labs and department blocks like Commerce, Zoology, Botany, etc. too. Transportation like buses to e-rickshaws are available which is very convenient and cheap.
 

Campus Rating
The Campus life is good, and it is truly lively here. Almost every facility is available here. There are many places to hangout after classes around the College; the whole area feels very welcoming for students, with multiple hangout zones nearby. It really has a great vibe, and the fest season is amazing.

    My overall experience was good. I am currently pursuing B.Com from Hansraj College New Delhi. The reason behind I chose this College was that it has proper balance of academics with extracurricular activities. Faculties are good here. It has great infrastructure with facilities. One cares for extracting, the College has the best extracurricular activities in entire North Campus.     My College comes at 12th in NIRF ranking. It’s among one of the top Colleges of Delhi University. The exposure and the faculty everything makes it unique. The moment I entered this College I knew there is something different here. Celebrity like Shah Rukh khan is alumni of this College.
