CSJMU is a State Government University. Since this is a Govt University so mostly student prefer this college due to its authenticity. The university has a big campus area of around 250 acres and having a lush green campus which is situated near IIT Kanpur. The university has a big swimming pool, a big playground and an auditorium that makes it more beautiful. My dept in the university is one of the most famous dept. The location of university is very fine as it is surrounded by the different universities. The university is 10 km away from the Kanpur central railway station.

The academics in Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University is fine. For admission in this course you have to pass class 12th exam with good marks. There is an entrance exam for the admission which is necessary for all the students. Almost every student get admission here easily. There is total of 360 seats available during the admission. The course fees is Rs. 44,200 per year.

Faculty members are very good here. All professors are very supportive in nature, motivating the students for their future. Almost every professor has done their post graduation; some have done their PhD in their respective fields. Some professors are too good and up to mark as we wish but you have to manage them. The faculty of CSJMU are highly reputable and experienced in their fields.

The placements are fine in the college. The average placement is around 5 lakhs per annum. About 25 to 30 percent students got placement here in different companies like HDFC Bank, Tech Mahindra, Tata, Bajaj, Birla, Reliance and many more and rest student start preparing for CAT exam for IIM and B schools. Only those students got placement here who are really dedicated to their course.

There are two hostels in the campus. One is Shivaji boys’ hostel and one is Swarn Jayanti hostel. There is a difference in fees in both the hostels. Swarn Jayanti hostel is the new hostel having little bigger rooms than Shivaji boys’ hostel and its fees is 30 k per year and hostel fees for Shivaji boys hostel is 22 k. The mess for both the hostels is same and menu is decided by the mess secretary. In every hostel, there is a common room having TV facility and tt table and carom and chess. There is also a big ground in hostel where you can play volleyball, basketball and gully type cricket also.

The infrastructure of the university is top. The lush green campus attracts the students. There is a big swimming pool in the campus; there is a gym as well as auditorium in the campus having seating capacity of more than 1000 students. The building of business management is also very beautiful. There are many small parks in the campus where many students chill and spent their free time. There is a big library in the campus having all type of books and newspapers.

There are many clubs in the university like dance club, singing club, literary club, coding club, debate club, photography club. The photography club is very active in the university and other are not much active. There are too many fests organized in the university this year like cultural fest, freshers party, formal day etc. sports tournaments are organized from time to time. Atlast I would like to day that you are going to enjoy your days and night here.
