Overall Rating
My overall experience at the Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore was good. The campus, blocks, classrooms, grounds, auditorium, and canteens are very good. I must suggest this college to others. The students are given high package placements. There are multicultural students, staff, and multicultural programs in the college. Inside the campus bus facilities are available for all the students. Overall our college has a very big and beautiful campus.
 

Academics Rating
There is only an application process for admissions in the B.Com course. The subjects that are taught here are very relevant to the workplace. There are knowledgeable staff members who teach here along with that the students are given soft skill courses and internship opportunities. Per year fee for the B.Com course is about Rs. 57,000 only. Also there are computer classes and courses like marketing, finance, management, and banking available here.
 

Faculty Rating
The facilities of Vellore Institute of Technology are well educated and have completed their Ph. D. degrees. Their teaching is excellent. Also after every semester, a faculty feedback is collected from the students and relevant measures are taken to improve their teachings from nook and corner for the students.
 

Placement Rating
There is a separate placement cell called Neopat in our college for giving placement training to the students along with that this cell is responsible for the maintenance of placement process in the campus. The highest salary package of the B.Com students is around 10 LPA and the average is 4 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
There are many hostel blocks for both boys and the girls. There are rooms with single beds up to four beds available with AC and non-AC variants. Plus there is a gym, a swimming pool, and a tennis court for the hostel with a good canteen that serves tasty and high quality food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Vellore Institute of Technology is beautiful and has a very good campus overall. There are different designs of blocks; along with that there are facilities like canteens, grounds for cricket, basketball, volleyball, tennis, badminton, and football. Also other important facilities like ATM, banks, stationary shops, book store, Xerox shop, juice, snack shops are available inside the campus. Plus the campus is spread across 300 acres.
 

Campus Rating
There are day to day events, functions, and sports activities held at the campus. There many clubs for social services, cultural related entertainment, and skill–based activities available in this college. Also there are places for gathering, parties, and birthday celebrations available here. Some grand events like the Gravitos and the Revira are organised in the campus.

    Overall VIT Vellore is a great choice, as it met my expectations with its cool infrastructure and better education facilities. There is great exposure of academics and nightlife here.
