The KIIT’s campus placements are very nice for CS, IT, and Electrical branches. There is not much competition for admission. One can easily get admission in this college. The campus life is very good. Its campus area is even bigger than the Manipal Institute of Technology and the Valore Institute of Technology. The infrastructure is the best. The best thing about this college is its campus life and mega events that take place.

Students need to give admission test for getting admission to this college, which is easy. Faculties are also good & cooperative. In CS, professors have vast knowledge. However, the students are not much attentive in classrooms. The eligibility for getting admission at the KIIT is being class 12th pass and giving the KIIT admission test. However, there is no management quota for admissions.

Faculties are very cooperative and have a vast knowledge about their respective subjects. Some of them have even worked with IT companies like Infosys, Accenture, etc. so due to vast industry knowledge they are easily able to make students understand coding. They even have various computers for teaching CS, IT, etc. But they provide various projects, which are almost the same every year, so students can easily copy projects of their seniors. If you have friendly relations with faculties, then they can even help you to get better placements, more marks in internal works, and projects. The students can stay after college and ask doubts from the faculties.

Yes, placements are good. If you get 9.5-10 CGPA in CSE branch, then you can easily get a placement of approx 10 LPA. The placements are mostly dependent on the CGPA. However, the highest placement each year is 50 LPA. For better placements, one should choose branches like CS, IT, and Electronics.

They have hostel facilities. This hostel is better than any other hostel. They provide a gym, swimming facilities, and AC & non-AC rooms in the hostel. The students can choose rooms as per their cost convenience. The hostel is safe for girls. The recreational activities like volleyball, football, basketball, etc. can be easily enjoyed in college campus and outside hostel areas also. It provides food on a timely basis and it is also good.

There is a separate building for the library, where different types of books are available. There are different types of sports played there like basketball, badminton, tennis, and football at a large ground. There is a separate block for the canteen which includes varieties of food, which are good enough. There is a computer room where the latest computer systems are installed.

Various events keep on happening at the KIIT for students’ entertainment. Some of them are KIIT e-summit, sketching events, and workshops on ethical hacking. There is a Kathajodi campus, C-block, KIMS, and D-block.
