CRC Review

Overall Rating
The institute is known for its campus life because there is everything inside the campus that one can enjoy. The placements are the main reason I chose this university. The CRC provides you with a lot of companies and profiles you can choose from. Around 650 companies visit for placements which is a huge number for a young university. Regular sessions and workshops are being held to make students competent and up skill them according to the industrial requirements.
 

Academics Rating
The course contains everything that the corporate sector wants to see in its employee. It is a mixture of both practical and theoretical subjects which is enough to provide conceptual as well as practical knowledge to the students at the same time. The eligibility is that you have to score at least 60% marks in class 12th and also you will get scholarship if you have good percentile in JEE Mains.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are very talented and supportive. There is always a student-friendly environment created by the faculties. One of my faculty members was herself graduated from NIT Srinagar. Faculties are hired after many rounds of interviews and their competency can never be questioned. They deliver quality lectures and are always up for help. There is always a two-way interaction during the class.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is very attractive because tech giants visit the campus for recruitment. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Nutanix, Walmart, Amazon, Bel, L&T, Cognizant, Samsung, etc. visit the college for placement drives. The highest package offered is by Amazon at 54 LPA. The average package is around 8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facility is very nice. Almirah, bed, large table, and chair are provided. You can get both AC and Non AC rooms at different fees. Mess food is hygienic but lacks taste. You can apply for a hostel through the college website. Hostel fees vary from Rs. 1,00,000 to 1,50,000 for a year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Academic buildings are very improvised and built with great engineering. You will feel like you are studying in a world class university. The amenities are very modern and high-tech. The labs are equipped with the latest feature computers. Lifts are also provided in large buildings. The campus is lush green and there are food outlets all around to eat and chill out.
 

Campus Rating
CU Fest is the annual fest organized by the college every year where a lot of Bollywood and Punjabi celebrities perform. Also, Tashn Nites and DJ Nites are held regularly. A fresher party is also organized for newcomers. Sports activities are held on a regular basis such as Inter Department, Inter Hostel, Faculty League, etc.

    My experience at Chandigarh University is wonderful and memorable. It focuses more on practical and that doesn't mean it avoid theory, it balance the theory and practical. For a Law student, it's necessary that there is practical exposure with theoretical knowledge.     I chose Chandigarh University because of the reputation it holds. The campus is really huge, and infrastructure is top notch. Each and every facility is available in the campus.     Here, campus life is too good for students. They organize many events for the students’ development. There is a balance between studies and co-curricular activities. Clarity of concepts is given by the faculties by which they stand out from others. Also, the teachers have a good teaching experience.
