Overall Rating
Shri Shikshayatan College is accredited to Calcutta University. It has been awarded Grade A with a CGPA score of 3.24 by NAAC. The college has been awarded with Best College Award by the Mother Teresa International Committee.
 

Academics Rating
I pursued B.Com Hons, a three year undergraduate course. The eligibility criteria is 80% in average of Accounts and best four. There is no entrance exam for B.Com. I joined this course as I am doing Chartered Accountancy. The course subjects have been really helpful. It helps in preparing for all the levels of CA exam right from semester 1. This will certainly be helpful in getting a job.
 

Faculty Rating
The number of faculties for B.Com is 24. Most of the teachers have an experience of more than 15 years of teaching. The faculties are M.Com, B.Ed, M.Phil, Phd. The teaching staff is friendly and caters excellent quality knowledge.
 

Placement Rating
The college has a placement cell. Interested students register themselves and go for interviews. Deloitte was the top company which came for placement in 2019. The previous year results have to be more than 60% and 75% attendance to be eligible for registering.
 

Hostel Rating
Shri Shikshayatan College doesn't provide for hostel facility. It's an all girls college. However, there are numerous paying guests available nearby. The college has a canteen which serves vegetarian food from 8 am in the morning.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Shri Shikshayatan College has a big campus which starts from Lord Sinha Road and ends at Pretoria Street. The college has 1 building with 4 floors. There is one library and two computer labs. The college has an auditorium, a swimming pool and a playground. There is a medical room for emergency services and the college has a tie up with Nightingale Hospital for severe cases.
 

Campus Rating
B.Com has two departments morning and evening. The place enriches students with knowledge both theoretical and practical. The college has social programs like NSS, LTS to continue giving back to the society. Every year the college organises intercollegiate fest named Srijan. The college celebrates annual sports, Hindi Divas, Bangla Bhasa Divas, and Republic Day.

    Shri Shikshayatan provides an environment filled with cooperation. The professors are always ready to help. First of all, the college has a number of choices to provide students with, so that they can choose whichever interests them the most.
