National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra is a really great college. The college has a great campus with over 290 acres of area. The college is full of greenery and the infrastructure if quite good. The classrooms and labs are fully air conditioned. The college has its own lake inside the campus. But the lake is not so clean, yet it is a nice area to hangout and relax along with that NIT Kurukshetra has a big OAT (Open Air Theatre) where many programs take place say freshers party, motivational sessions, festival celebrations etc. Moreover, there is an air-conditioned library also. So, overall, the college is good in all terms, but the only negative point is the bad condition of hostels and hostel food.

Coming to the academics of NIT Kurukshetra, the academics here are really good. The study here at NIT Kurukshetra is really very chill and relaxed. Usually, we have classes starting from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. And there is a break of almost an hour in between. Also, there is a compulsory 75% criterion for attendance. You have to attend at least 75% of lectures of a particular subject to be able to appear in its exam.

No doubt some teachers are highly qualified and intelligent but sometimes they actually teachers do not come to take classes they send the Ph.D scholars to take the classes. So, this is a bad point. Otherwise, the faculty members are really polite, and they understand our feelings and teach very well too.

This is probably the most important and most demanded question regarding a college review. So, coming to placements, the placements here at NIT are really good. As we know NIT is already among top colleges of the country. Companies here offer great placements with an average package of about 19 LPA in CSE (Computer Science and Engineering). Overall average package is 11.37 LPA.

Hostels at NIT Kurukshetra are really in a bad condition. The hostels area bit old and lack cleanliness and proper lighting. Also, the mess food is awful. Sometimes the parathas in the morning are so thick and tasteless that we tend to skip breakfast instead. But there are good entertainment facilities in hostel itself. We have Table Tennis, Badminton, and Volleyball in the hostel premises.

Infrastructure at NIT Kurukshetra is really good. It has a main building that is connected to all the different engineering departments through an infinity corridor. The corridor connects departments of Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Computer Engineering, etc. in a much-planned manner. Moreover, the sports complex here at NIT Kurukshetra is also very nicely built. It has facilities for almost all sports.

Overall, the institute's campus life is amazing. The crowd here in my batch is quite talented too. There are a lot of clubs for us to explore our talents and pursue our interests at a bigger level. Moreover, clubs are the best opportunity to interact with likeminded people. Fests here at NIT Kurukshetra are also really eye catchy. Students are very enthusiastic and active about these cultural and tech fests.
