Overall Rating
The placement stats are very good. The lush green environment with numerous types of flowers and plants give fresh air and soothing feel to body. Numerous numbers of clubs and societies are also there for overall cultural and professional development. There is a spiritual essence of this place. In addition, the main attractive thing about this college is its NIT tag.
 

Academics Rating
The entry exam for B.Tech in this college is JEE mains. We get different branches according to the rank in JEE mains. Reservation is also considered unlike other government colleges. The counseling done for this college is JOSAA counseling. In addition, eligibility is 75% in 12th boards. There are many other courses here like MCA, MBA, M.Tech, PhD etc which have other exams and procedures which you can check on college website.
 

Faculty Rating
All teachers are highly qualified like Masters, hold different degrees in their respective fields. To be honest, they don’t know how to teach. Only 5% teachers are good, so we have to study on our own. Also, there are many strict professors, and they react unnecessarily. They also provide projects and assignments on weekly basis which is quite irritating.
 

Placement Rating
As we all know NITs and IITs are famous for its placements. Therefore, we can expect average package of 13-14 lakh per annum. Civil placements are not very good here. There is placements cell that help students to prepare for placements according to their interests. But, in recent years placement stats are quite falling.
 

Hostel Rating
The worst thing about the college is its hostels. They are very old structured but greenery saves the quality of it. Mess is quite good. They charge 33k for mess per semester and other chargers according to the bill. Single, double and triple rooms are there according to the year of studying.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of the campus is very old and yet to be renovated. All the departments generally have 1-2 floors and there is a single Lecture hall. All facilities are provided like 24×7 library, Gym, Cafe, Markets, Computer labs for self study, etc. There is a Siemen Centre which is best. Overall, the infrastructure is quite good and improving in recent years.
 

Campus Rating
The campus area is 320 acres which is quite large. All sports facilities are available here according to student’s interest. There are many fest organised by different clubs like Utkarsh, Confluence, Tech fest like- Techspardha, E-Summit, Sports fest like - Citius, and others activities. Clubs are here like Shiksha, MAD, SUC, I&E Cell, Technobyte, EREC, etc, which you can choose according to your interest by giving inductions. I guarantee your campus life will be memorable.

    National Institute of Technology is good in my opinion if you are looking for NIT's in the northern India. The Institute is accompanied by beautiful lush green campus although there is a drawback which is that one person has to face some kind of difficulty for coming to this Institute by public transport.     In this institute, the overall experience is very good. It has a great past of 59 years. Factors that made me choose this particular institute is its reputation in market. This is the main factor; other factors are infrastructure, faculty, location and placement. This institute is no.1 in engineering institutes in Haryana so I choose this.
