One of the institutes of national significance in our nation is the Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar National Institute of Technology in Jalandhar. It is among the greatest engineering schools in the nation. This college is ranked 52nd in the NIRF rankings, so take my word for it. It was established as a regional engineering college in 1987. Later, the college became the National Institute of Technology. To be here, one must take and pass one of the toughest tests in the nation. Admissions are based either on GATE for postgraduate studies or JEE MAINS for undergraduate courses. International students are admitted through DASA and have a reserved seat. A deemed university located about fifteen km from the college.

In 2019, I began studying for a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering. For international students, the JEE mains and the DASA serve as the basis for admission to the college. The best justification for enrolling at NIT Jalandhar is that it is one of this nation's most prestigious institutions. Even though you are studying chemical engineering, don't expect to be taught chemistry since you won't be. The course topics are a little less oriented towards chemistry. The college placement rate for chemical engineering is almost 100%. Thus, this branch will be quite beneficial for finding employment.

One of India's top instructors, the one in the buildings is particularly involved in the academic success of their students. In general, NIT is your best backup plan if you weren't accepted into an IIT. First things first: professors won't spoon-feed you anything if you're coming from coaching and weren't prepared for them to act that way. They think you understand the fundamentals because they are well educated and qualified. Just picture a lecturer giving you a speech in public who is a little impolite. Both the fresh generation of assistant professors and the elderly academics are highly experienced in their respective professions.

For several college branches, such as chemical, mechanical, computer science, information technology, and electronics and communication, placement rates have been close to 100%. The college's internship and placement department put a lot of effort into helping students finds internships. Students are employed by both domestic and international businesses. Companies like Amazon, Google, and Microsoft also hire college graduates, and the top salary might reach 40 LPA.

Outside the campus, students have the option of staying in paid guests or hostels. A bus service that travels to the city's iconic locations is available to students who opt to live alone. There are two girls' hostels, seven boy's hostels, and one gigantic boy's hostel. If you're preparing to enroll in college in the next three years, you can experience housing issues in your first year because four to five people typically share a room with five other students. Although you usually always live with the same roommates during your time in college. There are currently two massive hostels under development, one for males and the other for girls, which would completely eliminate the space issue for newcomers. Each hostel has its own mess.

As of this year, our gym is effective, and all of the equipment is fresh new. We have four nicely furnished hardwood badminton courts in a separate gymnasium. There are two lawn tennis courts at our school, but they are rarely used because only wealthy students can afford to play (just kidding, people do). SAC is a stunning five-story structure that serves as a dedicated space for students to do anything—except blow it up. The snackers are the best feature of this structure. Every college student stops at the recently opened restaurant that is located on campus. There is a physician seated in the dispensary at all times. On the OAT wall, there is a mural depicting Captain Jack Sparrow.

The people you encounter on that campus, not the campus itself, are what make up university life. When you first enroll in this college and stay for one or two weeks, you meet others who are similar to you. Some individuals who share your viewpoint (they are few and far between) will let you sleep on their pillow. Friends, life, and ultimately a profession are the focus of college. Everyone only has one chance to get it right in college, and because we all have lived through that time, we have no regrets about anything that has occurred over the course of the four years. I'd advise you to enjoy yourself while you're at college, hang out with your friends, take excursions, and love the student life because there's nothing quite like it.
