Don’t think IIT Jodhpur is not worthy as good as IIT Indore, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Dhanbad. Yes it is not as good as IIT Bombay or IIT Madras or IIT Delhi, But among new IIT’s it’s got good Infrastructure, Good College Life, Nice Hostels and Mess, And what every student searches for good placements as well. Overall it's a very great college with an amazing campus spread across 850 acres. The thing I like the most about IITJ is that it focuses on your overall personality development apart from academics. Here you can explore different clubs such as astronomy, music, dance, drama, programming, robotics, entrepreneurship and what not!! You have a plethora of amazing opportunities available out there. At first, when I was allotted this college I didn't feel very good to be honest. I was just glad that I got into an IIT. After coming to Jodhpur, I realised that not only the college campus but the city was great too. Most important of all is that the hostels were clean and the mess food was good. These two points I don't think you'll find in most of the colleges. The sports Complex is pretty well developed. The overall experience at IIT Jodhpur is fairly decent in my case. The primary reason for my choosing this institute was based on my JEE Advanced rank and branch preference. I was interested in computer-science and based branches, and I was able to get Artificial Intelligence and Data Science here. The other factor included the location factor. The main reason I opted for IIT Jodhpur is its curriculum. All the department's curricula are revamped in 2019 and are made to be industry required and future-oriented. Aside from that, the labs are adequate and have a beautiful 852 acres of campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The placement record for the past 2-3 years is excellent as well as the median and average packages.
