IMI Kolkata Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

International Management Institute (IMI), Kolkata has around 2 hostels; each for male & female students. Both the hostels can collectively accommodate around 421 students including boys & girls.

The hostels of the IMI Kolkata have rooms in single & double occupancy with air-conditioning facility. Students get the fully-furnished rooms with bed, study table, chair, and other facilities. Also, the yearly IMI Kolkata hostel fees range from Rs. 1,85,000/- to Rs. 3,10,000/- (including both hostel & mess charges).

• Inmates should keep their room clean and well maintained as the management can pay their visit any time for checking purposes.
• Involvement in any activity which is banned by the law like smuggling, gambling, etc. can lead the students to face the serious punishments.
• Hostellers should make sure that they are not entering the hostel premises in the intoxicant state and do not possess any such materials like alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, and others.

The air-conditioning residential facilities are provided to male & female students within the IMI Kolkata Campus. The boys’ hostel can accommodate approximately 239 students and on the other hand, the hostel for female students has space for about 182 students.

Single & double sharing IMI Kolkata hostel rooms are fully-furnished with adequate amenities like bed, study table, chair, cupboard, and various other facilities. Also, some of the rooms in single occupancy are available with attached washrooms.

CCTV cameras, wardens, security personnel, and various other security measures have been taken by the management for the safety purposes. Inside the hostels of the Institution, several facilities like Wi-Fi, common rooms, indoor games like carom & pool, etc. are available for the students.

For disciplinary purposes, some rules for IMI Kolkata hostel mess have been set by the management; the details about the same are as follows:

• No hosteller can take the food from the mess to their allotted room.
• Mess timings need to be followed by the students.
• Wastage of food will not be tolerated by the authorities.
• Students who are not having the mess food because they are dining out need to inform the same to the RAC before the preparation of meal to avoid the wastage of food.
