IIT Tirupati

IIT Tirupati is situated near Yerpedu, which is around 30 KM from the main city of Tirupati. It has a great campus compared to other 3rd generation campuses, as it is filled with greenery, offering a serene learning environment. With mountains on one side and proper facilities for students, the experience in this institute is exceptional. In the beginning, you may feel that it is challenging to find many things nearby since it is quite far from the main city, but you will eventually find your way and form a great group of friends. This institute is quiet and perfect for studious students. Since this is a 3rd generation IIT, the growth speed may not match that of the 1st or 2nd generation ones, but in the future, it will undoubtedly be excellent. Students here are focused on various domains, and we have clubs for all specific interests. The institute is also working towards creating the perfect environment for us. Currently I'm in my final year. I think this Institute is the fastest growing Institute among all the third generation IITs. You are free to go anywhere at any time because there are no strict timings of the hostel. The overall academics and infrastructure of this Institute is also good as compared to other Institutions.Read Full Review

Indian Institute of Technology, Tirupati is the newest autonomous institute in the series of India’s pioneer technical institutes, IITs. If I’ve to deliver the briefest review of this college, then for tech branches like- CSE, IT, and ECE it’s like heaven, but, please try to go for any other institute for the core branches. Founded 6 years ago, in 2015, IIT Tirupati is running under the mentorship of IIT Madras. Since this institute is new and it will take time to get fully established, there’s no ranking like- NIRF, QS, etc for IIT Tirupati. Still, in terms of international collaborations, our institute has been recognized by accreditation with Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station, Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan, and Calgary University. Additionally, we are in association with CMTI Bangalore, CSIR- CEERI, CSIR- CRRI, and two more CSIRs. Different programs have their respective entrance exams here, IIT-JAM for M.Sc., and GATE for M.Tech, and JEE Advanced for B.Tech. Right now, Dr. K.N. Satyanarayana is the director of IIT-TP.
