Jai Hind College Mumbai Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus and infrastructure of Jai Hind College Mumbai is excellent. We have many sports facilities including 3 Pickleball courts, Basketball courts, etc. and facilities for indoor games such as Table Tennis, Carrom, and many others. The computer and the science lab of the Institute are also very cool. The auditorium is also very spacious and is well-maintained.

Campus life is definitely different for different individuals but for me, it had been a great experience. I’ve been a part of various committees and clubs throughout and I feel that the experience that students gain from there is the highlight of College experience for many students. They have societies for varied interests including Psychology, Sports, Finance, Dance, languages like Sindhi and Marathi, Cinema, etc. There are a wide range of activities held at the College including traditional days, festivals, historic events, launches, 2 to 3 day fests, movie promotions, quizzes, sessions, and so much more.Read Full Review

Jai Hind College has a compact campus with two main buildings, the campus size is small but it is located in one of the most prestigious locations in South Bombay, i.e. near Marine drive. It is a perfect spot to unwind after lectures. The campus has two main buildings, which includes the Main building and Annexe. The main building includes the Principle's and VP's offices, Exam Centre, Canteen, Science Labs and Classrooms on individual floors for respective departments. A library, AV room and auditorium are there too. The Annexe Building houses gymkhana in the basement, which is more than a sports zone; it hosts everything from sports to DJ nights and various other college events. The gymkhana also has medical and first aid facilities. It has classrooms for Arts & Commerce courses, Psychology Labs and Centre for Abroad Consulting and a lot more things. Overall, it is a compact campus, but the crowd, vibe and location makes it premium.

The best thing about Jai Hind College is its campus Life! The crowd is super classy yet chill- no ragging, no negativity, and just good vibes. There is always something happening- events, fests and non-step activity. The place is buzzing year-round. With active cells like Women's Development Cell, Student Council, Entrepreneurship Cell, and IAC (Incubator and Accelerator Cell) that encourages student startups. Stating facts, we do not have a proper campus; we are only confined to two buildings, which is more than enough for colleges in Bombay. Due to the lack of space mostly all the other colleges have the same campus size. We have a canteen, which provides the most delicious food. Keeping the Bombay weather in mind, every class has centralised AC.

We have many inter college fests, interaction is inevitable and this is what is so unique about our college. The college is in south Bombay, therefore you will see the best crowd of Mumbai in Jai Hind. There are various clubs such as Enterouage, Endevour, The social and Dramatic Union, etc. Every single student will get a chance to at least participate in one of the clubs. I will highly recommend to choose Jai Hind College over any other autonomous college in Mumbai.Read Full Review
