Jai Hind College Faculty Profile, Mumbai

The faculty is excellent. Many of them have studied from this College itself. There are few industry professionals as faculty members. The experience that they hold, in my opinion, stands out. I like the way they teach and the teaching methods they have adopted. They teach using a variety of flowcharts, practical learning methods accompanied by industrial visits and more. The Physics department has highly qualified faculty with all members holding doctorates in their respective field and are actively engaged in research. The teaching is interactive, which involves group discussions, blackboard sessions and student seminars as well. The faculty always encourages students in preparing for various exams like IIT JAM, GATE etc. The curriculum of the course for B.Sc Physics is designed in way that it covers the syllabus for exams like IIT JAM, TIFR GS etc. With 20:1 student teacher ratio, they give individual attention to students and encourage participation in summer schools and workshops- the faculty is truly supportive, kind and amazing.Read Full Review

We have extraordinary faculty. The professors are different for different departments. Our professors were so flexible in terms of work, and were easy to interact to. We used to have several group discussions, which also helped the students to engage and interact. They never restrained us from taking part in co-curricular activities. The students along with the teachers maintained a perfect balance between the academics and extra activities.Read Full Review
