I chose Bachelors of Accounting and Finance, because Finance is my forte and something which interests me. I wanted to pursue this course since my foundation in the same is very strong. There are 2 semesters per year in my course at the College. The academic and admission process is very smooth.

I am an undergrad student in Jai Hind College, pursuing B.Sc Physics and main motive for choosing this particular course was because of the well-qualified and excellent faculty members and the lab facilities that department has. In order to be eligible for admission, the outstation students have to go through an interview with the vice principle of the respective departments and may have to appear for an online test well, otherwise students from the same state can directly apply through their 10+2 grades and are then shortlisted by merit. For Admission process, students have to register in college's portal and create an account. Once done with that, the students have to fill the admission form, containing personal, academicals and parental details followed by uploading of the basic documents such as grades for 10th & 12th examinations, aadhar card etc. After which, the students are shortlisted by their overall performance and merit list. Since this College is Autonomous, it has its own method of evaluation, which tests one's regularity in the study and the subject. There are two types of exams conducted, one is CA(continuous assessment) it consists of MCQS, assignments, seminars, and projects which are taken throughout the semester to test the regularity and the other one is SEE(semester End Exam) conducted in the end of every semester which consist of subjective questions. The course has various modules like Basics of Python, AL Ml in Python, C language and various modules of Electronics, which prepares us to gain necessary skills required to enter the job market.

The B.Sc course is affordable, with its annual fees of Rs. 12,000 since it is government aided. For special category of students, the amount reduces up to Rs. 3,000- Rs. 4,000 after aid. The college also offers the Sumitomo Scholarship for merit based students.Read Full Review

I completed my under graduation in B.com (Hons.), specialization in Banking and Insurance (BBI). With my experience, if you have a keen interest in Accounting, then pursuing BAF would be the safest option. I am little unaware about the entry requirements of today, as we were the COVID batch, therefore we had an entrance test to scan our abilities and capabilities. My academic life helped me to hone my skills, it made me a persevere learner, a great communicator and also enhanced my social skills.

Fee structure varies from aided to unaided course, aided courses are slightly on an expensive side, however the unaided courses are feasible. My course was the part of the unaided curriculum, so our fee structure for the first semester was Rs. 17,000 and by the last semester, it escalated to Rs. 27,000 approximately. There are certain advantages, scholarships and special discounts available for the people coming from special category like disabled, partially disabled, or having any sports achievements.Read Full Review
