There are so many different departments housed in the college and you have an option to choose your area of interest. I completed my Post Graduation in Economics and when I stepped into the real corporate world, I realized the course curriculum that was taught to us was a bit theoretical, it could have been more industry-specific. But then again, I had few colleagues who wanted to make their career in academics, for them the course outline was helpful. So, I feel it could have been the mix of both – academics and industry oriented. But I cannot deny the fact that it definitely gave me a solid background and eventually got a great job.
