IIT Hyderabad Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

The hostels are great. They are better than any other IIT has. We have single rooms from 2nd year and double occupancy rooms for first year students. There is a washing machine on every floor, a water filter on every alternate floor, radiant cooling system in the hostels, which help us cope with the intense Hyderabad summers. There are also vending machines installed in some hostels. There are also some eating outlets near the hostel areas. Boys and girls have separate hostels. There is no in and out timing for hostels. The fee is around Rs. 15,000 per semester. The mess food is also quite satisfactory. The quality is good, but the menu is quite boring. They provide us with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I have availed hostel facilities in IITH. IITH has well furnished hostel with free LAN facilities, radiant cooling, water facility, washing Machine and many more. IITH hostel infrastructure is really good and unique.Read Full Review
